"A bridal gown called "Heaven and Hell" because the fabric is of alternating green and red panels. This dress from Lifta village and elsewhere in the Jerusalem and Hebron areas is made of pieces of silk stitched together by hand and embroidered in the Bethlehem manner. The chest sleeves and sides are usually embroidered with red, yellow, orange, purple and blue silk. It was generally worn with a white cotton shawl. It is shown with a blue ghabani belt as well."
