Hear my out , I am gonna start to share with you people a nice AU that Iâve harvested in the most twisted parts of my brainÂ
The name of this AU will be âBlueâ .
Alfred itâs gonna be 21 while Ivan 36
Ivan is a Russian immigrant living in the USA , he works as a Russian teacher and has just  divorced from  a life-long friend called Francine ( is gonna be fem France ) .He âs homosexual but with no serious experience , and Francine is his closest friend .
Alfred is a young man with no home or job, a shady past and a shady life . He keeps on going by being an addict.
The two meet in a weird occasion and will meet again , slowly becoming friends . Alfred will soon ask money from Ivan and use various excuses . Â Ivan at first is naive but then, he start to realize .Â
One night , Alfred calls him , He had an overdose and he needs to get out of the hospital but cannot pay his bill . Ivan goes to get him and takes him home . Alfred at first thinks the other finally wants something back for the money , Ivan just gives  him a room for himself and begs Alfred to get some rest . The morning after Alfred is terribly confused. He cannot recall the last time someone treated him like Ivan was doing . They get closer , Ivan ask Alfred to live in his house, âitâs big , and none else is hereâ
Alfred accepts and one day he meets Francine too , he learns about Ivanâs past .That night , when the woman gets back to his new husband , the two keep talking . Alfred talks about his life , about a family that treated him in the worst ways , about his abusive father , about how he failed school and how he just ran away one day and ended up where he was . He laughs at his failures , Ivan doesnât. âI think you could do much more than this â. This , Alfred never heard anyone saying such thing before to him . That night he finally cries for himself and Ivan is there to comfort him .  They kiss for the first time .
Then Alfred gets scared , he doesnât want this , connections are not good .
He distances himself , goes away from Ivanâs house , gets back to his life of drugs and convenient sex to get them . But Ivan starts looking for him .
When he finds him , he tells Alfred he wonât give up on him , not matter how many times he would fail .
So the young man decides to trust Ivan , Is nice at first , they are almost happy .
But one day Alfred just has a breakdown , Â rehabilitation doesnât work , he needs his drugs he needs to hide behind them still .Â
So he steals from Ivanâs house , Ivan finds out .
They argue , Ivan hits him and regrets it badly . He asks for forgiveness .Â
Alfred doesnât listen , his trust has been betrayed for the last time . He leaves .
Ivan doesnât even try to look for him for a few weeks , too ashamed and guilty and mad both at himself and at Alfred. But he loves the blond man , he loves his smile and his eyes and his blue , sick world .  HisâŠis a different addiction .Â
He start to luck for him , but heâs nowhere to be found . One day he gets a call , is Alfredâs number , but the voice is not his . He has to go to the hospital again , did Alfred have another overdose?
When he gets there , is to recognize the body , apparently he was the closest thing Alfred had to family .Apparently he died on the streets ,apparently none was really paying attention to what was happening to him  .
The doctors try to explain to him that unfortunately Alfred was one of many cases like this .
But Ivan can just think how he lost a war with Alfredâs blue world. Ivan canât take out of his mind that that blond , young man  probably left this world thinking none would really care of what would be of him .
