September, 2018 was gorgeous.

There was great music and a great city. I’m so grateful for that time in my life. I believe it will happen again.

And it will. My mind knows it’s possible and there’s no way it won’t make it happen again.

Meeting Myself (1-3-2021)

I’ve nurtured this love, For the day you’d come back.

When you went away, Many years ago, I wasn’t capable, Of saving your heart.

But ever since, I’ve grown, I’ve grown so much love. I’ve been capable of so much, This love won’t ever end.

And where have you been? Running around with all of this pain. You poor little thing, What have you been learning?

Tell me your stories, Tell me everything, Those hearts that you broke, And those that broke yours. The ones you decided, Were worth waiting for. And then to be distracted, Some you treated like toys.

The days that you spent, In hotels and planes, In boardrooms and lobbies, And yet all alone.

The nights that you spent, In somebody’s bed, In somebody’s arms, And yet all alone.

You’ve caused so much pain, And you’ve felt so much pain, You’ve been out alone, How did you endure?

You took all the vices, The world had to offer, What were you seeking, And what did you find.

I’ve waited these years, I’ve waited for you.

I don’t know who’s meeting whom, I don’t know who’s come back home.

Am I coming back together? Or am I splitting in two?
