Awesome post. Thanks!
One of the coolest things about my rv is the Velcro friendly roof. All my electronics and patches are Velcro backed.
Stayed up all night to get this done before container lid in. See you out there. :)
Got this on fivver. I think Ill make either stickers or patches to give to people I meet on my travels.
Draft 2: Finished the rest of the lights and got rid of the ugly black Velcro. Now the only thing left is the code and wiring it into the 12v -> 5v adaptor so I can power it from both AC and DC.
Back in asheville for Transformus (regional burn) with Camp Updog and more house searching. Transformus was amazing like usual and Asheville continues to inspire me each time.
I met an avid hiker at the hostel and we went up to Max Patch which is a beautiful patch on the Appalachian trial. The RV did not like going up a gravel road for 8 miles so going forward, I need to scout for these kinds of potential problems.
There are three more days here, so hopefully more adventures!
First draft of code. There will also be more lights.
This post is a mixed bag. There are some pics from Asheville (there was a festival in the middle of a town with a full on show inside a gas station), some interesting finds in Manhattan and some pics from a roadtrip to COSM. Storm King and Dia:Beacon with some coworkers.
Not many photos from the second part of the trip but it was very nice. Had to drive the Rialta through 2 hours of torrential downpour. I hope it didn't do much damage.
Perfect Memorial Day ending with a sunset in Rosendale NY at a friends house after spending the weekend at Disorient presents Country Club in Shandaken NY. I am doing nighttime Oncall this week along with three more stops before heading back to the office in NYC.
My realtor :D
This has been a great weekend. I looked at houses, enjoyed the shit out of west Asheville, met some cool people who traveling across the world and finally soaked in the hot springs. The Dobra tea house is still the best place to do work remotely here in Asheville imho. This is my second time here and it only gets better from here!
I have a week of night work so I decided to spend it in Asheville, NC. It was pretty much my favorite place in the entire eastern united states and top 5 best places I have ever been. I am also looking at houses here to hopefully buy a good deal. The video is from the last road trip and shows a time lapse of leaving NYC.
Damn, used the wrong blog again. Come on Tumblr staff, let people switch blogs on posts :P
Home (Verrazano bridge in background) I am back in Brooklyn. Work on Monday. Dreaming of the next trip....
Day 14/15
Didn't do anything too interesting except driving through Jacksonville fl, Savannah, Ga and now I am at a Bernie townhall in Charleston, SC. Tomorrow I will visit my teacher in Myrtle Beach for a day and then head home to NYC.
Day 13 2 hour hike, yoga on the beach and hanging in my hammock. Location: emerald coast beaches around Pensacola.
Day 12
On the road to the florida emerald coast beaches, theres not much that happened. I did stop at a shooing range and shoot 9mm,10mm pistols as well as a .38 revolver. That was fun. Will spend day at beach tomorrow.
