When the boy opened his mouth, Nate turned to look behind his shoulder before realizing that he was talking to him. He tried not to laugh at the clueless expression on the other’s face, raising an eyebrow. Nate twisted around, scanning the crowd briefly before his eyes fell on his girlfriend across the room. “Brown hair, with the-” Nate cupped his hand and waved it over his own head, indicating that Blair had her hair pouffed back. “You know this is her party, right?”
“That’s exactly why I’m asking.” Robert spoke over the music, taking a quick drink of his water when his company turned to search the crowd. “I got an invitation, so I wanted to know who she was,” Robert extended his hand, a smile plastered on his face. “My name is Robert, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
