Hi. It’s been working relatively well for me so far. After a few months, the hair that regrows in fact seems a bit finer and a bit less of a pain to pluck. Or I could be imagining things haha. The hair certainly does NOT become rougher. As for bumps and ingrown hairs, I would say it is at least no worse than manual plucking or shaving (though personally I think I am finding less incidents of ingrown hair). All the usual care still applies - like exfoliating properly a day before doing hair removal, and regular scrubbing and exfoliation in the weeks when the hair is growing out - to try to minimise the likelihood of any ingrown hair. But, no matter what, sometimes it still happens whether you shave or epilate/pluck =/

Hi. I did try IPL before and it was great for a while. But, eventually, the effect wore off and I didn't want to spend more money doing it again. Right now I do a combination of epilating using an electric epilator, and manual plucking using tweezers hehe I don't like shaving as it doesn't leave me feeling quite as smooth ;)
