Not legally no. Because they only discontinued their activation servers. They didn’t say “Hey bros have the program on us!”. They just put it up so that people who have bought the program can be able to re-install if needed.

I wish they still kept their old programs ‘buyable’ though, they still work. maybe even better than the newer versions. I guess they don’t so that customer services won’t have to deal with help on decade old software but y’kno
They do it because it's just goddamn expensive to support old programs like that. I mean, not only you have to keep it up to date with the new OS but you also have to make sure it works with the ancient ones. Supporting a program for numerous years costs as much as developing it. Yup, it costs that much. Even Windows stops supporting its products, with Windows XP's support being stopped in April.
