Birthday Surprises || Jaxel
Jax couldnât get rid of the ridiculously big smile on his face, not that he even wanted to. He had never been this happy before. The love of his life had just agreed to marry him and he didnât think any moment could ever beat this one. He was going to get this beautiful woman with him for the rest of his life and he didnât think there were words strong enough to describe what he was feeling in this exact moment. Jax laughed slightly when she asked him to put the ring on, he had been so caught up in the moment that he hadnât even realized he still hadnât put it on her finger. Â He slipped it onto her hand, smiling even more at the sight of it. Seeing it there on her ring finger made all of this just so much more real to him and he hoped she was as happy as he was right now. âDo you like it? Because if you donât we can always pick you out something different. I want you to be happy with it.â He said, looking up from the ring to look at her. When he had went looking at rings it had taken him forever to pick something out, worried that he would get her something she would hate. The ring he had ended up getting her had been one of the last ones he had looked at and the second he saw it he knew that was the one he wanted to get her, but if she didnât love it he wouldnât hesitate to get her something she wanted. Jax returned her smile, shaking his head. âIâm still not convinced that he likes me but heâs obviously willing to tolerate me.â He told her with a grin. âIâm so glad to be able to be able to have you with me for the rest of my life.â He said, pulling her closer to him.
She could still hear her heart pounding in her ears at this moment. She felt like she should pinch herself just to make sure that it was real. That he was real, that this was real. She was getting married. She was getting married to Jaxon Sterling, and she could not be happier and looking into his eyes she knew that he was the right person for her. She was making the right decision, and she couldnât help but wonder if anyone could even describe the kind of happiness she was feeling right now. Her gaze was distracted though as she felt Jaxon taking her hand and slipping the ring onto her finger, her smile widening even more as she looked at it. It was seriously so perfect. She hadnât ever really pictured what kind of ring that she had ever wanted before. Every girl dreamed about the huge diamond that practically weighed her ring down, but not Rydel, and what Jaxon had gotten her was perfect, and she was glad that she was going to be showing it off for the next few weeks because you could believe she was. âNo, no, I love it. Itâs absolutely perfect, and Iâm never going to take it off my finger.â Rydel said, smiling as she looked down at the ring, and then back up at him. She took his hand in her own, admiring the way that their hands looked together with the ring shining. âYes, heâs willing to tolerate you, and thatâs better than nothing.â Rydel said with a laugh even though she knew that her dad actually did like Jaxon even if he wouldnât admit it. She smiled and wrapped her arms back around his neck, kissing his cheek softly before whispering in his ear. âI love you.â She whispered.
