Wesley shook his head as he saved his paper. “Nope. I’ve finished pretty much all the science and math courses offered here,” he told him before looking at Ryker. “Yeah, well school sucks ass. Either way, you’d probably feel really drained. — Doesn’t sound like too much fun. I mean, it never is when the parents actually have to come in,” recalling that his own flew in after they heard about the loss of his cousin. “Well, hopefully they say you can stay,” he said with a small, hopeful smile.
“Thank god. I was at the top of my classes before I left and now I am so far behind.” He flips through the pages then hands the book to Wes. “I don’t know why I even took Trig.” He pulls out his notebook. “The recommendation so far is to keep me here while I finish my studies. Definitely for the school year, if not till graduation. But laws get tricky since I’m here on a student visa for highschool not college and my parents have the final say really. But the therapist is really for me staying here.”
