Surprisingly for Ryou, he had been too slow. The person in front of him had dodged and he had been oblivious to the impending fist, until it him square in the chin. Despite this he had been quick enough to grab hold of her wrist as he turned to watch the other person run away. “I don’t know what happened, but was that really necessary?” he asked with a frown.

“i prefer your dance videos, too. don’t get me wrong, i love your modelling, especially when you’re modelling with me, but the dance videos are just… something else,” she said with a brief smile before focusing on the dinner in front of. “…whoa, this smells and looks amazing.”

"Something else? I'll gladly take that as a compliment," he said with a gracious smile. He couldn't help but laugh at her reaction to the meal, "I'll make sure and let the staff know you approved." Going over he pulled out her chair for her like the gentleman he was, gesturing her to come over and sit, "My Lady."

Ryou chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck nervously before looking up at her through his lashes, “You really think so?” He smiled and reached out to play with a couple of strands of her hair as he spoke. “I actually only agreed to being photographed in the first place to get to bug you. And then they said I was good and I kept with it.”

“of course i think so,” she said, not batting an eyelid when he reached out to touch her hair. “wait, really? that’s the main reason?” she couldn’t help but grin at the thought. “as long as you enjoy it, though, that’s the main thing.”

He laughed a little at her comment, “Oh yeah I definitely enjoy it, I’m just saying that I never would have started if it wasn’t for you. Now that I think about it, its not all too different than shooting a dance video, its like snapshots.” He was getting away from the topic at hand though, and he reached down to grab her hand, leading her to the table that he had set up. “Speaking of things I can’t do, I’m not a chef either. So I hired a chef to prepare tonight’s meal,” he joked.

Even though he was quick to hand out compliments, Ryou had never really grown used to recieving them from her. They had always exchanged them, teasingly of course, but now that they were an item the words couldn’t help but pull at his heart strings. “Oh she’s amazing, the girl of my dreams. Really? And why do you say that?”

“girl of your dreams, huh?” she pretended that her cheeks weren’t turning pink, even though she could feel it. “yes, really. i mean, you’re good at all these things, not just modelling. there’s the dancing and the illusions and the instruments. is there anything you can’t do? not to mention the fantastic personality.”

He noticed her blush and felt very accomplished with himself for being able to cause it. "Well...I can't paint like my mother," he countered. His mother was one of the most skilled painters back in her country. He had tried his hand at it but had never really gotten a passion for it the way she did. "And I'm not much of a healer...my father says I'm good but I know that if anything I'm at least decent at it. I know I'll never be able to be a Kwami guardian when the time comes without keeping his notes with me."

as soon as ryou said ‘there is this one girl’, viviette rolled her eyes, knowing exactly what he was getting at, but she let him speak. she could indulge in compliments once in a while, right? “she must be very lovely to catch your eye, huh? but i think she’s the lucky one.”

He looked down at her with a grin, finding her defensive arguing adorable. “Sure, let me know when it happens and I’ll bring my measuring tape,” he teased with a small laugh. “True, but then again I’ve never really paid attention to most models,” he admitted. Ryou had brought honor to his family with his many skills, which had also given him fame. He had modeled for covers of magazines for his violinist skills, his mastery of the flute, his magic tricks, and his dancing. Sometimes posing with other models, yet he had only ever really remembered when he had modeled with Viviette.

viviette playfully narrowed her eyes, lightly slapping his arm. “oh, don’t worry, i’ll be sure to tell you, and then you’ll be able to see just how tall i get,” she said, raising her head a little higher, as if proud of something that hadn’t even happened yet. “you haven’t?” she had to admit she was surprised, since there had been times where he did shoots with other models besides herself.
