Rathurion, despite Rythlin's level of dress, was still in his usual sailor captain's attire. He muttered something about the ship when asked about where this person was, and ushered her onto the boat. Eventually they arrived at his vessel, which was strangely devoid of life. "Head to my cabin, he's uh, in there. I need to take care of something before I join you." He said. Stowing that row boat he waited for the woman to be out of view before hoisting that anchor and drawing a few of the sails. The ship would be at sea before long, on a nonsensical and non-planned course to who-knows-where. There was no noble. Rath shifted his jaw. "Damn.. I knew I told her to dress nice but she really knows how to clean up.." he muttered to himself softly, popping his flask from his shirt. He almost felt bad deceiving the woman but she'd been avoiding him for far too long. Glancing over the deck, it was largely empty, aside from a few weapon racks, rigging, and other materials. The weapon racks WERE full, a few blades similar to Rathurion's own, but other than that, the deck was much more empty than it had ever been previously. "Ry, c'mout here.." he called to her. She'd be pissed now but he wanted her to see there was no escape.
Rythlin seemed skeptical of Rathurion's words at first as he quickly rowed to that ship. She was tense and something felt extremely off about him. Giving him a long hard look, the beauty climbed onto that ship and slowly made her way to that Captain's cabin. Reaching for the handle she slipped herself inside to find..nothing. Peering around this way and that, the huntress simply frowned. Had he..lied to her? Before she could even call to him the feeling of that ship lurching made her stumble. Bracing herself on one of his desks, the silver tressed woman gritted her teeth. "Son of a bitch.." She hissed before rushing over to that door. Hearing him calling for her now, she rushed to the top deck. Glancing about with a rather panicked look upon her features she soon allowed her gaze to rest upon him. "..What...is the meaning of this Rathurion? Please...tell me there is a contact here somewhere?" She said gazing up at the billowing sails. It was a ghost ship. Him and her standing there on the deck as land began to drift away in the distance. "...What have you done..?"
"What I had to.." He said simply, staring out at the water with his back turned to her. "You've been avoiding me because of that night on the ship. It's childish behavior and it needs to stop. But I couldn't get through to you no matter what I did, so I had to employ some childish behavior of my own. I lied to you to get you aboard this ship, and now we're out at sea, alone together." He turned to face her with a somewhat grim expression. "There is no contact. Have a nice night? I hope you're not TOO hungover.." he teased slightly. Slowly walking towards her, that frown of his slowly crawled back into a smile. "I gotta say though, you did a great job at cleaning up. You look damn stunning. Could almost pass as a noble yerself." He grinned. "More show for me, I suppose. So.. what do you have to say for avoiding me this last half-week?"
Rythlin let it all sink in as she listened to his words. Opening her jade pools widely the woman glanced back out to that relatively calm waters as the setting sun seemed to ripple over them. Taking a step back from him as he began to approach her, she frowned quite deeply, "You..are such an asshole.." She whispered coldly. "Rathurion I..that was one night! I ..I had a moment of weakness. I was almost raped! We're business partners..." She panted as a palm instantly touched her temple. Pacing up and down that deck she snapped her neck towards him with a slumping of her shoulders downward. "This was cruel. I want to go home, please..turn this ship around!" She said with a heightened tone as a palm rose up to rub along her collar bone. She felt so naked wearing this attire now. "Rathurion this is not funny..."
With a grin the man simply shook his head, pacing about the deck. "Just a night, huh? Then why are you letting it affect you so much? Why does it make you panic to be around me? Why are you avoiding me? It's obviously affecting you more than just a 'fuck and forget' situation, Ry. You're panicking. You're too nervous to even make EYE contact with me. What gives? Where's that practiced, calm exterior? Or did you forget to put it on when you were applying makeup this afternoon?" He teased her, facing her once more and grinning from a few feet away. "You can't handle that you slipped up. You can't handle that you ENJOYED it. So you're running from it. What kind of soldier ARE you, Ry? It thought you had a stronger will than that.." Pushing all of her buttons, he did his best to irk her, to break her, to force her to unleash herself. "You'll go home when I deem it necessary.."
Oh and push her buttons he did, that mind of her's was spinning as she paced around that deck at a furious pace. THis way and that those eyes danced about the wooden planks before raising to the sea, it was everywhere. She couldn't escape him, her thoughts or his words as she finally came to a stop by that rack of weapons. "...I hate you. I hate you for everything you've done to me.." She said to him with a furrow of her brows. Noticing that rack of weapons close by she quickly grabbed a small short sword and plucked it from it's sheath. "Let me off this ship Rathurion. I am not your prisoner.." Her voice cracked as those green hues began to water. Locking upon his own, she raised that weapon upwards towards him. She looked like a true Pirate Queen now as those long locks of her untamed hair billowed freely behind her much like her gown. "..What is it you want from me? I already told you I am and will NOT be yours.."
Grinning widely as she gripped that weapon, he knew that he was easily her better when it came to swordplay. Cruel, playful ideas slipped through his mind now as he drew his own blades. "Going to attack me, Ry? My my.. I didn't think you had it in you." He shook his head. "I don't understand why you hate me. I saved you from a lifetime of jail. I give you lucrative - yes, dangerous - jobs, I give you a place to live when you need it and I saved you from a rapist. Yet I'm the bad guy - not that idiot monk who tries to butter you up with a bunch of pretty words, or that drunk tinhead yesterday who probably just wanted a trophy to show off when he went out with his other armor-plated buddies. No, you give them plenty of time of day, but me? I'm the bad guy. I've done everything for you and you hate my guts, and I don't know why. Maybe you're afraid of me.." he teased with a wicked grin, raising his blades in a defensive stance. "Is that it, Ry? Are you afraid that you might actually like me? Would that be the end of your world? My my.. did you enjoy our night together? Is that why you won't face me? So you don't have to admit it?" He was backing her into a corner within the argument for sure, but the physical battlefield was still quite open.
Rythlin felt those tears of her's beginning to rise up inside of those intense hues of her's. Focused she locked her attention fully on him now as her breath became rather raggid. Perhaps he was right? Perhaps he was wrong, Rythlin said nothing to him for a long moment as she held that sword directly at him. Unsheathing his own blades in return the woman couldn't handle it anymore. She lunged. Running at him full speed, she swing that sword at his mid section with a practiced blow. She wasn't exactly the best swordsman but she wasn't terrible either. "Shut up.." She said flatly. "Shut up! Rathurion! Stop!" She screamed as she went into a flurry of swings at him. She was all riled up now, and it showed on her flushed face.
As she rushed at him, the swashbuckler that he was quickly blocked that first attack, raising his blade to parry each strike in succession with his off-hand while dancing backwards with every strike. "You're not focused, Ry! You're letting your anger guide your blows. You need to relax. If you tense up, your strikes become much more predictable. Every novice swordsman knows that.." he smirked, sidestepping her attack and using his main hand to cut a vertical slice in the lower section of her robe when she jabbed, creating a slit in the dress. "There. Doesn't that look better? Now you can show off your amazing legs!" he taunted, moving around behind her before bringing his blades back into a defensive stance. "All you can do is to tell me to shut up. You can't come up with a valid argument or answer which means I'M RIGHT. You just hate to admit it, don't you?" Ooooh he was going to drive her nuts.
Blocked at every turn, the woman seemed to grunt and swing at him like a mad person. Though as he side stepped her and made that long slit in her gown, those tears began to pour down her face. Gazing down at the ripped portion of her dress she took pause. "..I do not own many nice things Rathurion!" She screeched at him before attempting to turn and take another stab at him. Oh she was quite livid now. The way those tears poured down her face and how her jade pools burned into his own, she was bound and determined to at least give him a few nasty scars. "You are not right! I did not enjoy any of it! You took advantage of me in a weak moment! You are cruel and vile..and.." She panted before groaning with another swing of that weapon. "Why will you not just leave me be?!"
"Because I enjoy your company, Ry!" He said, parrying strike after strike. "Besides, you look great. It's just a minor alteration. Tell you what - I'll help you fix your dress, make it even better!" He taunted her with another sidestep, kicking the slitted section of her dress open to swing a blade and catch it, tearing through it. He quickly spun around her form, slicing the bottom section of her dress right off, which caught the ocean winds and blew away quite readily. "I always thought you looked better in a short dress, sweetheart!" He laughed, smirking widely at her as he continued to parry her strikes.
"You say you hated it, and that I'm vile and repulsive, yet you were begging me for it that evening, Ry. You enjoyed it, you just won't admit it. You revile me for lying to you to get on this ship, but not only do you lie to me about your feelings, you lie to the rest of the world with that composed mask of yours, AND you lie to yourself to convince yourself that you couldn't possibly enjoy your time with me. You force these labels on me in order to believe them yourself - but it's hard, isn't it, Ry? When I save you, repeatedly? When I protect you? Are those the actions of a terrible person? Coulda fooled me.." he smirked, parrying another blow. "I think you really do like me.. otherwise you wouldn't be so bothered about all this.."
That sudden rip of that dress she wore all the way about her made her gasp. That fabric that shielded her legs from him was gone. That short dress was now sitting at the middle of her thighs like some sort of mini skirt that still held that slit upon her hip. Exposing a portion of that ink she held up by her hip bone, the woman gritted her teeth in annoyance. "Stop! You son of a bitch!" She screamed at him now, using all of her strength she blindingly slashed at him in a flurry of attacks. She never relented as she panted heavily. "I do not like you! I have plenty of other options! I have made many new friends!" She barked at him. "One that would not lie to me to get me on some ship! You're holding me hostage?! For what? For me to say yes to you? To finally give you what you want? I know what you want Rathurion. You already had a piece and you just want what I know. You'll never get it. I...am not some woman you can just...fuck and leave! I won't let you do that to me! I will not be another notch for you on your bedpost!"
"Then why are you running from me when I CLEARLY still want your attention? YOU are the one saying that it was a one night deal, a moment of weakness and nothing more, NOT me! I'm still pursuing you! Can you not see how fucked up and backwards your own logic is?" he said, grunting each time she struck him. For now he blocked those heavy blows over and over he knew that he'd have to counter her or else this would get exhausting fast. Spinning away from the attack once more, he slipped that blade against the back of her dress, and, careful not to touch her skin, sliced clean downwards, opening a large slit in the back all the way down. "Oops. Overshot my mark I guess. We'll need to take new measurements!" He taunted, now quickly and deftly avoiding her blows entirely , though he kept his blades up for when she did land a strike.
"You blame me for all of YOUR mistakes and YOUR failings, Ry. You blame me for your feelings and hate me for them. THEY ARE ALL COMING FROM YOU. These choices were yours! You chose to sleep with me! You chose to AVOID me after! You chose not to make it into something more, NOT me! You're the one who is putting a notch in YOUR bedpost then leaving ME behind, NOT the other way around. Look at the last several days, Ry! I've been nothing but persistant and YOU are the one avoiding me! If I just wanted to fuck you and leave you, I would never have picked you and Shy back up in Booty Bay. Ever think of that, huh? Ever think you're worth more to me than just some call girl in the local tavern? No, because you're too busy turning yourself into a blind zealot, convincing yourself you hate me so you don't have to live up to the consequences of your feelings and your actions." he said pointedly, flicking that dress of hers to make it loose.
"Oops, again." he taunted, dodging more strikes. "I will have what you know, Ry, but only because AND when you join me and are at my side, USING that knowledge. Until then? I'll just keep pursuing you, but it isn't information I'm after, and it's not just parting your lovely rose petals either!" He said with another blade flick, cutting a slit in that skirt up from between her thighs to her navel before recalling the blade and continuing to dodge her strikes.
Rythlin seemed to gasp and take pause as that dress of her's was falling apart right before her. Barely able to keep together that stitching seemed to stretch. Groaning that threading proceeded to rip more and more as the weight of the velvet caused it to tear. Soon enough, as much as she tried, that small gown fell. Falling to the deck with a thud. She stared at it as she was clad now in only her undergarments in small slipper shoes. Panting heavily as those lacy black covered strapless breasts heaved, that matching thong underwear didn't seem to hid anything. "What..do I have to do to make you leave? Go away?" She said to him with a heavy pant, those tears of her's staining her face now, a free hand rose up to cover those full cleavage breasts of her's. Shivering from the feeling of that cool night air, the vixen held that sword out in front of her defensively. "Don't..you dare come near me. You've ruined my only piece of clothing.." She said to him sharply before back peddling. She needed to create space now between them as she made note of where that door was leading to the cabins.
Rath was quicker than she, however, especially in his own element. As she began to back up, his blade slashed at a piece of rigging, dropping that rope in his hands, which he quickly whipped about to wrap around her ankles. "Aww, don't leave yet, Ry..that I've got some of your old outfits kicking around here somewhere.." He teased, smirking widely. "You will never get rid of me, Rythlin. Even if I were to die I would haunt you for the rest of your life. No matter where you go, no matter what you do, I will track you and I will chase you. How does it feel to be the hunted rather than the hunter?" More taunts as he approached. "I want you, Rythlin, and I have for a long time. You keep trying to deny that you feel the same, convincing yourself that you hate me and refusing to face these facts even when I throw them directly at you. So instead of fighting now, you're going to run and hide? Is that your game? Some soldier you turned out to be. I thought you were brave, Ry. You can't run from me forever.." He said possessively with a hungering stare. "No you can't.." ~
