What happened to the rest of team blue? (Was it just headphones who passed??)

Tbh I'm not really sure on where to go with the au right now since I have the basic gist down. i already know im not making a comic or a whole new side blog for it because everytime i do one of those things my interest dies pretty fast. id like to focus on more of what mitsuami thinks of the whole ordeal as shes the protagonist in the quote-on-quote storyline in my head

the entirety of team blue is strong, but they didnt fit in ochos vision of strong. i feel like they all struggle individually (maybe except for goggles but only due to his ability of whimsical nonsense and idiocy). soloq is a different beast when it comes to ranked as the player needs to rely on random people as well as having their own skill sets. Team Blue may have beaten a whole ton of S+ players in the manga but it was almost entirely out of dumb luck and power of friendship. so what happens when you take away that friendship?

headphones was in tough circumstances, knowing that she was the only one out of her friends that passed her exam. She decided to go with the rest of the team in their exile. unfortunately, she shows a bunch of potential that ocho is interested in, being the most competent out of the idiot blue team. she could be strong, especially being the only one that passed

What goes on inside the factory?? How do they get turned into power eggs? Or is that more of a content warning type answer

I see the process being akin to the Kamabo blender and then getting processed through another machine (i didnt think about this part too much i just go rainbow factory go brr)

As for inside the factory, i imagine the workers there dont really get outside much. conditions are hot because the facility is out in the middle of the desert. i think 8-bit keeps people on their toes and has a no slacking policy, esp since what theyre doing isn't great. i think most of the workers are the hierarchy's teammates as well as shady, 8-bit, ocho, and wireglasses themselves. workers are under the impression that this /is/ the best way for the city to flourish and not be "seen as weak."

so yea. conditions are hot, usually no sunlight, usually always doing something whether it be monitoring, fixing things, etc, and not really coming out. the only people who are seen outside are the hierarchy members and usually its just ocho and wire

theres a lot of splatlandian pride and love for their city which is why they continue on. sacrifices must be made for the Betterment of Society
