To start off my new projects I'm starting with spiders. And to narrow it down I'm starting off with the Lacterodectus which is more commonly known as the Widow Spider family. Did you know that there are 31 species of Widow Spiders?! The Black Widow isn't the only one! There's so many more! Stay tuned for all 31 of these species, some of the species will have 2 embroideries depending on the difference in appearance between the male and female. BIG NEWS! So as you may know, Gemmeparfaite has recently changed to an all embroidery shop. While making the change I found myself wondering and struggle to figure out just what I wanted to do with the embroidery. Have no fear, I will be finishing the ones I have started but I'm going to be moving away from the groovy peace ones, the inspirational ones, the florals and the farm animals. Once I finish those ones I've started then those will be the last of them. But onto the good news! I'VE FOUND IT. The thing I'm going to be doing is.... im going to embark on a long journey to embroidery each and every, bug, insect, etc... that has ever existed. I've always had a big interest in all of the little creepy crawlies that surround us in this world and so now I'm diving into the books, surfing the internet and getting to it! Each embroidery will have a singular critter on it with the scientific name of it on it as well, some may include other fun facts or things as well. But all in all I'm VERY EXCITED to start this probably lifelong project! So stay tuned, stay great and get ready for some new stuff, starting with...you guessed it!
