it actually annoys me so bad that people completely ignore the timeline when criticizing megumi for not fully unlocking the 10 shadows technique
like, he was barely a few months into his first actual year of training at jujutsu high and had gained control of multiple of his shikigami, then just a few months later UNLOCKED HIS DOMAIN AND DEFEATED A SPECIAL GRADE CURSE??? HELLO???? gojo didnt even manage to complete red before the middle of his second year!! much less his domain!!!
not only that, he has incredible martial skills and is able to surprise opponents who expect him to rely on his shikigami just like geto (a special grade sorcerer!!)
on top of THAT, in shibuya he saves everyone from dagon with his domain, holds up against toji, and only after he's on the verge of death does he default to his guaranteed lose-lose trump card (which, mind you, wouldn't have been an issue if sukuna hadn't kept him alive which he had no control over, since mahoraga would have disappeared once megumi died)
then, DAYS after his only guardian figure is sealed, he learns his sister is in danger so he cons his way into hakari's fighting ring, beats 3rd year kirara, and then WILLINGLY ENTERS A BATTLE ROYALE FIGHT TO THE DEATH TO SAVE HER??? in doing so, he uses his wits to trap reggie in his domain, withstands the pressure of multiple tons of weight, and leaves the end of s3 having merc'ed MULTIPLE reincarnated sorcerers with incredibly strong techniques!!!
not to mention his willingness IN THE FIRST FUCKING CHAPTER/EPISODE to sacrifice himself to defeat the REINCARNATED KING OF CURSES?? (who he had no way of knowing was technically underpowered at the time!!)
all this, while maintaining a relatively level head, excellent strategy skills, and complete dedication to his goals
this boy was FIFTEEN. a BABY. a CHILD. and people say he's potential man because we never got to see him perfect his domain or unlock round deer or whatever the fuck. these bitches would have said the same bullshit about gojo if the series was just his teen years, before he got his domain or perfected his technique, and that shows how fuckin stupid they are
