i feel like the south park fandom is in such a strange place right now...LIKE YEAH WHERE IS EVERYONEˎˊ˗

✪back in 2023 it felt impossible to escape. tiktok edits had millions of views, everyone suddenly knew SOUTH PARK and ships like creek, style, bunny, kyman, stendy AND MORE . Ao3, Quotev n Wattpad was constantly updating, fanartists were everywhere...

⭑𓂃and then it just... got quieter huh

not dead. definitely not dead!!

⤷ ゛ i've noticed that quotev is still surprisingly active!! ao3 is still getting amazing fics, and tumblr honestly feels like one of the last places where people actually talk about the fandom instead of just scrolling through edits. ˎˊ˗

it'll probably be something about whatever's happening in the world when they're writing the episodes. politics, some huge internet drama, AI (new ep), a random news story that everyone's talking about...IDKK

that's kind of what south park has always done best EH ( •̀_•́ )凸

so honestly i'm just excited to see what they choose to make fun of next !! 👽

anyway...

⤷ I still think about when "Christmas Kids" by ROAR was EVERYWHERE !

Every time I opened TikTok there was another South Park edit

ᯓ ✈︎ That song somehow fit every character even the SHOW

It honestly felt like the entire fandom was connected for a while. Everyone was making edits, sharing fanart, writing fanfics on Quotev and AO3, and introducing new people to the show. (Now it's like quiet, but i find some people still in the fandom since my last post YAY★ˎˊ˗ )

—͟͟͞͞★ 2023 was such a fun year to be in the South Park fandom ! (˶>⩊<˶)

The fandom is still alive today (and I'm so happy about that 🖤⭑.ᐟ ), but I kinda miss that feeling when it seemed like everyone was posting South Park content..

Maybe we'll get another wave like that when the new episodes come out idkk

Can we PLEASE get another Goth Kids episode? 🦇༉‧₊˚.

I know they're side characters but I genuinely miss them... ˙◠˙

Their last major appearance was Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers (Season 17), and ever since then they've mostly just made tiny background cameos (•_•)

Meanwhile, the FANDOM still loves them!!.𖥔 ݁ ˖ (i HOPE U DO𓁹‿𓁹 )

People are still making fanart, edits, playlists, headcanons and fanfics about Pete, Henrietta, Michael and Firkle even after all these years!!
