Show recommendation of the day: Metal Cardbots

Metal Cardbots is basically similar to Transformers but it’s Korean. A young boy named Jun accidentally bonded with a police car named Blue Cop and uses a magical wrist band to capture all of the wild Cardbots. I must warn you that this is a kids show is FILLED WITH TRAUMA AND ANGST AND DEATH WITH NO BLOOD AND GORE CUZ IT’S A KIDS SHOW! THAT’S RIGHT, MY FRIEND! AND I SHALL GIVE YOU SPOILERS!

In season 2 of episode 7: we’re introduced to 2 new Cardbots named Rock Crush and Glober. Rock Crush was friends with Glober since the days of Planet Machina that was in destruction. During the landing and arrival to Earth, Glober’s escape pod crashed (due to a goddamn accident) leading Glober to land on a peaceful nature and Rock Crush to land on Mowtown. Rock Crush had to suffer from the overwhelming noises in Mowtown so he escaped but he accidentally got electrocuted underground. So that makes Rock Crush’s personality affected and became a loner. If a friend/foe approached to Rock Crush, he’ll show intense hostility.

In season 3 of episode 19: we get a flashback scene about two Cardbots named Tachy and Tachyon (Tachy’s mother) who looked like leopards (cuz they’re in the Rapids Tribe). Tachyon would always protect Tachy when he was young but all of the sudden, Saber Knight killed Tachyon in front of Tachy.

In Season 1 of episode 5: we’re introduced to another Metal Cardbot (who is kinda new) named, Phonix Fire. You would see Phonix Fire putting down flames for some safety reasons or no reason at all. You would ask: “Why would he do that? Does he have a phobia?” Well to answer that question, yes! He was a rescue worker that received a metal and the reason why Phonix has pryophobia is because of an unexpected accident in Machina. But the good news is he overcomes it with a help of Jun and Blue Cop and joins them as their comrades

One fact you didn’t know is many Cardbots are really traumatized or aggressive to humans because they fear they’ll be sealed into Metal Cards by using Metal Breaths, leaving it to have them no freedom or a form of slavery :D

You can only watch it on YouTube but there’s a few options: either watch it in Korean, English, or Spanish dubbed. I’ll send you the link to the sub later (if I got time)
