My process begins with enlarging a large photo using a inkjet printer then using mod podge (like a glue) to secure it to the canvas- it needs 24hrs to dry then spritz it with water to saturate the paper. Begin removing the top layer of the paper, then slowly rub off the remaining paper until the image appears- it’s pretty laborious! Also it’s a little volatile and some parts may not stick well, as you can see. I have removed the hair part and will be painting flowers in its place!!! In my mind it will be great -fingers crossed!!
