Community is everything. But, community with yourself is necessary. We all deserved that time of unconditional perfect external responses to our chaotic cries for someone to hear. Too few of us grew up in environments that could provide that. And we all deserve patience and care while we sort through our dramas and situations. But, it is nobody else's responsibility to hold our pain. When we "overshare," - which really just means when we knowingly expose too much about our intimate vulnerabilities without consent - we risk disrupting the balance in relationships - we show a bit too much soul-skin without informed consent. And when there are other power dynamics involved, it makes sense why folx would rather disappear into the ethers than attempt to communicate with someone they believe will disrupt the balance again. Listen, ya wanna know how I know? Because I used to be just like this. The answer is to fall in love with yourself and your own friendship. The answer is to treat yourself like you want to treat the partner of your dreams. The answer is to stop seeking outwardly, and start finding your healing within. Good luck, Radicals.

Do you ever wonder if you deserve all the good things happening within and around you? Do you ever worry that you’ll find heartbreak and loss if you accept the goodness offered to you? Has it been so stressful for so long that you feel suspicious about this relieving sweetness that surrounds you now? Are the blessings spiralling around you drastically incompatible with your negative self-beliefs? Yeah. I get like that too sometimes. Maybe we don’t deserve it. I dunno. And it probably will end one day - most things do, after all. I get it. But, I am also intimately aware of the discomfort of regret. I’ve held myself back from accepting the goodness around me before. It didn’t protect me from loss, like I had hoped. In fact, I lost out on a whole lot more than I betchya I would’ve lost if I had accepted the goodness offered to me - even if that goodness had an expiry date. I don’t want to miss out on an opportunity to enrich my experience of life. I want to open myself up to it. I want to expose my vulnerability to the power of this goodness. I want to flex my strength into the gentle presence of the good around me. That’s why I am embracing this bewildering profusion of love and goodness. I hope you’ll join me. And I love you too.

Of course.” And it’s always okay to have done something less than best - especially when it’s revealed in public. The mistakes you make heal and wound. And heal. And wound. But, because you are innocent, you are integrating the lessons in the imbalance. And because you are innocent, you are kindly responding to the mistakes you have made.
