To read the eZine :: http://ning.it/iaxLd6 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The act of Creation is a means of Healing for both the originator and the one receiving. This is true of all Art, whether it is music, painting, dancing or Swag Baskets. On the cover of this edition of OM Times, we are graced by Lisa Gal, the Sultan of Swag, who is responsible for creating the serious swag baskets for entertainment’s major award ceremonies, such as the Oscars, the Grammys, the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild. OM Times is a Holistic green eZine with a spiritual self-growth perspective. We are a multimedia outreach of Humanity Healing International and was created to share new ways of thinking to promote Healing on personal, community and global levels, and to bring attention to the individuals and organizations that are making a difference. This is our first mid-month edition. Inside the eZine you will find a full multimedia experience with music and videos…in addition to the excellent articles by our incredible Featured Columnists covering the Holistic spectrum. OM Times is free publication. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...we need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Teresa of Calcutta That was a moment of innocent. A moment that I believe "anything" was possible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Special thanks for this image! Photo taken courtesy of 1236bigcat
When you look at the view of Earth from space, you are immediately in awe of what you do see: the incredible beauty of Creation. It is not until you look closer that you realize what you do not see. You do not see lines partitioning countries. You do not see separation between races. You do not see division between religions. You do not see the walls people build to isolate themselves from each other.
There is just One Planet. There is only One Humanity.
Humanity Healing is a Nondenominational Network committed to Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Healing and Growth through Education and Spiritual Activism.
Spiritual Activism is expressed by Compassion in Action.
We believe that when we help others through compassionate action, we Heal ourselves and through us, Humanity as a whole.
We are Children of the same Universe. We are all Seeds of Humanity.
Thank you for visiting us here. We encourage you to look through the different pages outlining who we are and what we believe.
And we look forward to learning and growing together.

Valentine's Twist- Partner Parivrtta Sukhasana Partner yoga is a wonderful way to assist each other in safe deeper stretching and to explore our selves through the limitations and structure of another person. This type of practice is depends on compassion and automatically brings us out of our "Me" stance and into the "now" place where yoga works its biggest magic. Do this with your lover or with someone you've just met—wonderful both ways! * Sit facing your partner in a comfortable legs crossed position with your knees touching. Stare into each other's eyes with great curiosity for perhaps a minute to connect and release ego. * Both people reach your right arm around your lower back, with the back of your hand touching just above your hip. Turn your hand so that your thumb is pointing down and reach your left hand out diagonally to grab onto your partner's right hand. If you can't reach, then both of you grab onto either end of a scarf and bring your hands as close together as you can. If you easily hold hands then you can reach further and grab wrists. * Try to keep spines straight as you gently pull against each other to bring each other into the deepest twist. Turn your heads to the right, look sharply to the right and even press your tongues into your right cheeks. Allow every part of your body to participate in this twist. Feel your energy spiralling in a double helix out through your crowns into space and down through your seat towards the center of the earth. * Engage breath of fire or a quick strong breath in and out of the nostrils to further the rinsing action of this twist and re-oxygenate your blood. Try to do this for a minute. Allow this to cleanse the very core of your being. * Release the stretch to a gentler twist and take a few deep slow breaths together. Notice the play of your energy spiralling together and make an effort to release all tension-past-future. Visualize this perfect double helix and perhaps even repair such forms that provide your structure—like your DNA. Release to a neutral position and switch gently to the other side-twisting to the left. * After completing both sides evenly come to center-neutral position pressing your palms together or your foreheads and do circular partner breathing-one partner inhales while the other exhales for a few minutes. * Finish with a small savasana—laying on your backs with your feet going in different directions and your heads next to each other. Connect with the energy that you share and that every living thing has in common.
