My experience watching Castlevania so far

taka and sumi coming into alucard’s life and potentially giving him an outlet to better humanity and pass on vampire knowledge, effectively making himself everything his father wasn’t, only for the two of them to betray him and force him to kill them and distort his view of the world and slowly turning him into his father.

Just finished Castlevania s3 so here are my initial thoughts

- Sypha and Trevor are honestly the cutest couple in any series I’ve ever watched. They have the sweetest dynamic

- My boy Isaac went through a whole ass character arc. All the scenes he was in were perfect and his interactions with other human beings really fleshed him out. We also learn he’s not only Muslim, but someone who fell out of faith, something that I can see being explored in the future.

- Man Hector had it rough this season. From being dragged over 800 miles by Carmilla to being given the harsh prisoner treatment and then being manipulated and falling for Lenore, he really can’t catch a break.

- Adrian, oh my sweet Adrian. I just want to reach through the screen and give him a hug. He was so lonely until Sumi and Taka came along. He really felt like he had friends, only to be betrayed in the most intimate of moments. He seems to be following in the steps of his father and I really hope that Trevor and Sypha go back to their beloved dhampir because he really needs some love right now.

- The fight scenes were fucking superb. Powerhouse Animation really stepped it up this season and I’m honestly craving more.
