Anywho fan art aside time for my yap sesh about this AU

I’m an emotional person, I’m aware. I feel for characters a lot of the time. But that’s feeling for them. This AU is one of the very, very few that I can really connect with. If not the only one. I just, constantly feel called out by Mikey’s behavior and how he seems to think about the world. But I can count myself lucky enough to have a Leo in my own life in my older sister. Also! I could stare at the comic panels all day, your art style is delicious and you handle spacing in your comics so, so well. All to say, it’s been lovely seeing the growth of this AU, and thank you so much for putting it out into the world. It means so, so much to me. And I always look forward to the next update, whenever the time is right for you. Always take your breaks and rest, always. Now for the fun part! My own brick to throw! I almost always listen to music or watch videos while I draw, here’s some songs from one of my playlists I thought could connect to these two I heard while drawing them. I know this isnt related to your Doomed Baja Blast AU but, how have you been? Like, mentally and physically? I know a bunch of artists out there who suffer from a lot of mental and physical health, and i am also a artist, although beginner, and i would love to support such a talented artist like you

Hey, thanks for checking in on me! Not many folks here ask me how I'm doing, so I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoy my work!

To be completely candid, everything Super Sucks 64 right now! Work has burnt me out so I have mental breakdowns nearly every shift, my back and bones hurt from my scoliosis, I only make just enough to pay the bills and get by but not enough to save money or have any sort of disposable income to buy myself nice things,

but

My head is filled with all of Mikey and Leo's story I have yet to tell, and I have to draw them and put them out in the world or else they'll stay in my head forever and make me sick. In other words, drawing stories and comics has really been my driving sense of purpose and motivation and makes me happy. I might make a kofi at some point idk. Anyways, this image I drew is unrelated
