Oki so I'm kinda starting a nutcracker adaptation thing along @n0tdisturb3d (ig idrk) and I just kinda wanna yap about it

Anyways so far I've got a few major plot points down like the beginning of the Magical realm that yk all the main characters (minus Maria/Clara's family) is from and I lowkey wanna yap so If you're still reading this is my thoughts for how the magical realm came to be (it's my own idea but I took inspo from other nutcracker movies and other movies in general)

Basically the idea is since there's the ice queen and king and the sugar plum fairy i figured since I want to do a thing where there are multiple kingdoms in the beginning of the world there were 4 sisters the sugarplum fairy, the ice queen, the queen of flowers, and the 4th sister who had no kingdom to rule. The 4th sister was alone and since her sister's were blessed with magic and their own people to rule and govern she became spiteful and the land she live in became dark and filled with shadows and dread.

She gained power from that darkness and stole the scepter of dreams from the kingdom of sweets and created the mouse king and his subjects, but they ended her for she created an entity who only craved power. He took the scepter and came to rule over the kingdom of shadows.

Then the sugarplum fairy (still working on a name for her) had a child with drosselmeyer's brother and the baby was half human. The mouse king saw him as a threat over his kingdom and cursed him for after so many years he'll be a nutcracker forever and be basically a lifeless toy.

(also sugarplum isn't evil in this story but she's basically the overseeing monarch for all the kingdoms in the realm so also she's an ADHD nut so)

Anyways that's my ideas for the beginning, imma share some character art soon since I wanna share my designs, also The Nutcracker is trans in my story so 😼 (when he was turned into a nutcracker it was at the time he realized he was trans which was about 13 so and as he grew up as a nutcracker as he got older around 16 when stubble comes in it was magically painted on) anyways I'm yapping but I do wanna show off some traditional art sketches I have so far, also the Nutcracker and Maria in this story are all above age idk why but I like the idea of them being adults more then I do children, maria is 19 and the Nutcracker turns 20 on Christmas which would be the year he would become king but yk.

Next is some concept art of sugarplum but idk which one to pick if I'm honest so if anyone actually reads this please I beg you tell me which one you think is best

Even though I wanted them all to be sisters (the 4 queens) I wanted them to be different races since they technically dont have a mom, they were created by the star that now resides im the scepter of dreams so sugar plum will be white,the snow queen will be black, the queen of flowers Hispanic, and the 4th queen to be Asian!!

Anyways thats my yapp/rant about this story I'm making so anyways let me guys know what you think!!
