made a tweet comparing severance and twin peaks characters so here are my thoughts on this website too.

helly is audrey (daughter to a wealthy powerful family who have a lot is stake in their town, who they attempt to take down without even realising that their own family is behind a the danger, which they put themselves at very real risk for)

gemma is laura ( the tragic character who is dead at the start of the story, trapped in essentially another world away from the people who love them. their death is the shift that drives a lot of the story, and they have an identical lookalike (or literally just them) that shows up and is also tragically lost)

dylan is sheriff truman ( guy who just wants to push through and do things for the woman he loves who’s separated from him. loyal and trustworthy, with secrets like anyone else but a man with so much heart)

irving is bobby ( guy who’s maybe not on the right side of things at the start but through his love he ends up becoming someone who fights for change and love and cares so deeply for the people around him)

mark i’m not sure about yet. outie mark def is albert ( cynical sarcastic kinda rude but deep down a good guy) but innie mark i’m less sure about. need to think on this.

devon is lucy. this has no evidence i just love both of them and they’re kinda nerdy with a equally odd husband. which would i guess make ricken andy. sure.
