There’s so much wonder in his eyes – he expected anger. Hiro-Kala expected far more green. Eyes are roaming, never staying on his father, still searching for his sisters, for his aunt, for anyone to protect him (as if he deserves it). He wouldn’t blame his father for being angry; there last encounter did not inspire love. Hiro-Kala murdered children with glee; spurred by the belief he was doing the right thing, certainly, but still with joy. He is as they say, a monster, more so than any Worldbreaker could ever hope to be.    

“Time passed as normal within K’ai,” he says, after a long pause. He could try if his father was doing so. “I… only grew as I normally would.”

Hiro-Kala couldn’t have known the loss he felt when they left him. Bits and pieces of that day flash across his mind, of how he yelled at Betty when she tried to be there for him that day, but all he could think as they flew away was of how he was too late, and the face of his son in the ground. Anger would not heal this, neither would hatred nor coldness. None of that would bring any of those children back, and he knew that.  Anger here was as pointless as throwing a cup of water into the sea. So he nods at his question, a shameful look settling on his face, “Though I sure as hell didn’t show it.” He hadn’t gone back for him. Just like every other child, he hadn’t gone back for him.  “Still -- it’s ah, it’s been some time since we’ve last seen one another,, I think I half expected you to’ve stayed looking the same.”

Oh. This has been coming, obviously, he lives with his family. Hiro’s eyes travel around, left, right, left, right. “Carmilla! Carmilla! I need –” A security blanket. Hiro-Kala’s scared. His father hasn’t even done anything but show up and yet.

Bruce is nervous. It shows in the way he stays back, giving them each several feet of space between them, it shows in the way his fingers twitch, as if for some godforsaken reason, he was reaching out toward him (as if he were allowed to). He stays his hands, shoves them into his pockets before glancing up toward the ceiling, almost in quick prayer to whatever god that’ll listen, so that he doesn’t screw this up, and back to him. “You’ve grown.” He keeps his voice quiet, soft, but audible.

#Thor: ragnarok rumors under the cut

“Loki and Hela’s plan involves the major arc of the Marvel Universe, and just when it looks like Thor is about to put a stop to it, he gets banished — but not to any old planet. He ends up on a gladiatorial planet where his head is shaved and he’s forced to fight for his life. Let’s call this planet Sakaar, like it was in the comic books.

Thor knows that he has to get to some MacGuffin weapon object to defeat Hela and Loki (could this be the Infinity Gauntlet that Thanos is in possession of, or maybe an assemblage of Infinity Stones?) and he has to get off the planet. Thor runs through all of his alien opponents in gladiatorial combat, even without his trademark hammer. Finally, Thor has to face the current champion of the arena, and wouldn’t you know who that ends up being? The Hulk.”

The report goes on to say that the Hulk hasn’t reverted back to Bruce Banner sinceAvengers: Age of Ultron, but the two personas are beginning to merge, and so the Green Goliath recognizes Thor. It’s from here that Hulk and Thor begin the cosmic road trip the film has been billed as.
