A hut in the woods, a light in the window. Enter and find yourself, inexplicably, inside of a seaside castle. Rain thrums against the windows and a fire crackles warmly in the study fireplace. Tomes upon tomes line the labyrinthian walls of the personal library that fills the study. And in a chair stirs a creature.

I record horror stories and while I had streamed on twitch a handful of times in the past, I am moving more towards posting recordings to youtube. I may still stream on twitch in the future, should the stars align and the Forces That Be allow for such things, but in the meantime, avail yourself of the links below to learn more about my blog here and various places I will be materializing on the internet.

Suki & Salem's Ranting and Ramblings: Dark Content in Fictional Media Q&A

For those of you who had watched the last stream I did with my friend @salemsstudy, we mentioned wanting to make that sort of stream (more akin to a podcast or 'just chatting' about topics we're passionate about) something that we do regularly— so we're doing that!

So right now I have that stream scheduled for next week @ 6pm CST, and if you click the link it will show what it is in your local time!

Unlike last stream however, we want to try and be able to answer questions with a bit more organization since, as some of you noticed, we (specifically me I am the yapper LOL) can get off-topic somewhat easily. So going forward, I want to put out a post to mention the overall topic we'll be covering and offer the ability for us to take questions in advance so we can have them ready to answer when we're streaming!

So, like the first stream, this next one will be a continuation of the topic 'Dark Content in Fictional Media', such as how it relates to us, impacts us, and our thoughts on culture and how that kind of content is seen and experienced in both traditional publishing and fandom spaces alike.

So if you have a question you'd like us to answer, especially if it relates to the topic for the stream, then please feel welcome to leave a reply or reblog letting us know! Me and Salem will be keeping the questions together to try and answer through first, but we'll also try our best to take questions during the stream itself for those interested c:
