I don’t wear big cuffs often, but when I do, I like to wear them on Thursdays. Why Thursdays? I assure you, nothing is rotten in the state of Denmark and there is method to my madness. My rationale for big cuffs on Thursday is as follows…
Thursdays never are really quite at the top of the heap when you consider the best days of the week. A few examples of this; 1) Thursdays aren’t even good enough to have their own pictures. Instead, throwback pictures are preferred, 2) Everybody looks forward to Friday with all the TGIF and Friyay rah rah, Thursday always plays second fiddle to Friday and the weekend days, 3) Wednesday or “humpday” is very positively viewed as the half way point to being done with a work week, conversely, Thursday is always just standing in the way of getting to the official weekend… And there are so many more examples but I will stop now for the sake of brevity considering it is the soul of wit…
With all this in mind, I like to reward Thursdays with big cuffs from time to time. Because who doesn’t enjoy seeing a big, bold, and strong raw denim selvedge cuff?? So let’s head for the mountains and this Bud’s for you @seanbenjaminperry , cheers to #bigcuffthursday
