{OPEN STARTER}
“Everyone thinks they’re the hero of the story. Well I am not the hero of this story, so if you stand in my way you must be one of them. If you’re one of them then I am sorry but you don’t have a future.” the white haired woman said staring at the being that had trespassed into HER area of the Abyss. “You smell of death. I should know, because I made that scent. It seems we both are the same we reek of the stench, but that doesn’t mean that you can leave now.”
sir-huffman:
Huffman could only nod politely as this was a field that was out of his own comprehension. Although, he could empathize with feeling the weight of responsibilities that others do not wish to or have no reason to bear. With that in mind, he moved to lead her up towards the church.
❝ Of course, ❞ he kept his smile on his face, ❝ I am curious though, and please forgive me for asking if this is a private matter, but… might I ask what you’re seeking here in Mondstadt? In the church… ❞
He was skeptical. Not of the young maiden for being a hoax, or even coming here for nefarious purposes, but rather of the seeking of the Anemo Archon himself. As a mortal, as a human, he has yet to be blessed by the archon and even their prayers seem to fall short of the god’s ears. They only had their faith to keep them tethered to the untouchable winds…
…and he was disheartened to think that a woman such as herself could summon the archon so effortlessly. And even more disheartened to think that she travelled all this way to hear her prayers and words unanswered just like Mondstadt’s as well.
As the knight lead her up the steps further a familiar sound graced her ears and the shaken worry she seemed to hold started to melt away as they got closer to the church. As she began to feel her worries subside Huffman’s question found purchase among her thoughts. “What is it I am seeking?” she repeated giving a momentary thought. As they crested the top of the stairs and the plaza in front of the church and the Statue of the Anemo Archon were in view she saw a young bard playing music for the people of Mondstadt smiling with a true sense of freedom filling each note they plucked on the lyre they held and each word they spoke flowing like the wind itself. Upon seeing this she smiled seeming to relax in an instant. “I was seeking confirmation that Barbatos’ will still flowed in Mondstadt and that the God of Freedom still held love for his people... I have that confirmation thanks to the performance of that young bard dressed in green over there. Sir Huffman if you should ever feel your faith in the wind waver please remember these words.”
As she said this she turned towards the night and looked him in the eyes smiling “So long as the bards songs fill the hearts of the people Barbatos hears each and every prayer of his followers. I can say with a certainty that I cannot explain that your Archon still watches over Mondstadt and seeks to keep his people as safe and carefree as the clouds above in this very moment.” she said before giving a bow towards the knight. “Thank you so much. For showing me here and keeping me company. And please do you best to remember that you do not need a Vision for the gods to smile upon your works.”
// Just a test! Reblog it if my muse can jump in your askbox without annoying the mun!
[Before I go to sleep I wanted to share a thought. Havria is well adjusted to Liyue since coming back, Mondstadt was a bit of a culture shock for her but over all she was quick to adjust to it. In Inazuma she would struggle to adjust due to the stark difference from set groups, be it the Shrine Maidens and Yae Miko, The Bakkufu and Ei, or the people of Watatsumi Island and Kokomi they are all so different to her and each has their own expectations and react to her so differently it is hard for her to adjust and as such she is easily flustered and almost walked over by the people of Inazuma with ease. She is very much out of her element there and even more so as she was told to keep her identity even more hidden than she does in Liyue.]
“ you are annoying me.”
“My apologies I am just wishing to see the Shogun and make certain she is well. I did not expect the men standing guard to fetch you miss.” the mint haired girl said with an accent that was clearly from Liyue.

“You was killed by your own people since they was trying to give you a mercy kill, which conflicted with the fact who broke the contract thought you was killed by Morax. Though the person in question was in such denial she ran off.“ Lumine doesn’t really get the whole details and honestly, the Azhdaha matter made more sense to her in the long run. Liyue was just full of one to many things to keep note of because of Zhongli’s age.
“Ah good I was worried Morax would have forgotten some of the details or would have gotten certain things mixed up... though it wasn’t exactly a mercy killing. My people were scared, and saw my presence there as a threat to their safety because they feared other archons would come to fight me... this was near the end of the Archon War but they could not have known that.... the killed me to try and protect Sal Terra from the wrath of other archons because they knew I would not fight in a war. I wish.... they would have just asked me to leave them... now my people are gone because they lost faith in me as their Archon.” she said solemnly. “Prior to the Archon War reaching it’s climax I had struck a deal with the other Archons... So long as they left Sal Terra alone I would not lay claim to the position of one of the Seven. However Celestia demanded I not tell my people this fact until after the war.” she said shaking her head.

infinite-xerath:
Havria’s response was at once pitiful and unsurprising. Despite all the power she so casually claimed to wield, her foolishness was virtually unrivaled. “In other words, the fall of Sal Terra was a blunder entirely of your own making.” The Magus kept his attention fixed to the broken idols in the temple, as if there was little difference in speaking to them or speaking to the foreign entity.
“It seems to me that your subjects assessed you correctly. How could they bring themselves to rely on you for protection, if you would not even protect yourself in a moment of peril? You may have kept your life, in a sense, but you lost everything else…” Once again, it seemed almost unclear if Xerath speaking to Havria, or the broken visage of the Ascended…
Finally, Xerath turned to look at her again. “And I should remind you that the world upon which you stand is not Teyvat. The laws that govern this realm, the magic that flows here, they are fundamentally different to what you know. You mind find that for all the power you hold, the elements of Runeterra will not heed your command so readily.”
The Magus began drifting toward her. “If you would seek to claim dominion over death, you mind find yourself at odds with a certain pair spirits…”
Havria seemed to not take any offense at Xerath’s words seeing as many would agree that the fall of Sal Terra was due to her own unwillingness to resort to violence. However as there was mention of a ‘certain pair of spirits’ she she smiled. “You speak of Kindred correct?” she said in a knowing tone. “Did you forget what I told you before? I would not have been able to set foot on this world if there was another Deity with domain over one of my facets. I had to speak with Kindred before I could ever fully manifest.. for now...” as she spoke the ghostly apparition of the twin spirits swirled around the area as a display of sorts. “Kindred is part of my being... sealed in my own domain of death. That is what is required for a True God to enter a world where another True God claims the same domain... one must be seen as holding more command over that domain.” she said calmly to Xerath who she was now beginning to understand was still quiet ‘new’ as a godly being in the grand scheme of things... there was so much he didn’t know. “Tell me Xerath... has there ever been someone who you trusted without question? Someone who you looked at as a friend or member of your family that you would accept their council without need to or thought to go behind their back and validated their words? If not... then I doubt you would be able to grasp why it was that Sal Terra fell... I died for my people as I was always prepared to do... it is just a shame that my people had to suffer for their own actions against an Archon.” she said with a sigh. shaking her head. “You are old in your right, you have experienced much for a god so young, but Xerath arrogance is just as large of a weak point as ignorance.” she spoke almost like a mother, or grandmother teaching a lesson to a child and his friends. “Thank you for bringing me here and showing me your home, but do not think that other gods you have encountered here or through the Summoner’s Gate are the same as the Archons where I am from... I need no Gate to venture out across universe, and I have yet to meet a god of death who can claim dominion over me and mine. And there is no Power that can halt death... even Necromancers and Lich find that truth to be unshakable. I came here to visit a new world not to be disrespected by a god so young he had yet to decide his own portfolio and domain.” she said in a scolding tone looking to the rune that Xerath had gripped at earlier.

infinite-xerath:
Xerath saw little harm talking out in the open. After-all, the majority of his followers lacked the ability to really understand what they were saying. He gave them power, but most who underwent that transformation lost a part of themselves in the process. The mind was not meant to endure such arcane secrets… But that was more a case of happenstance than a necessity. There were those, like the Seer and the Herald, whose wills were strong enough to retain a real sense of self even after the transformation. Those who could not simply lacked the strength to do so, but they had agreed to take that risk in exchange for might…
Regardless, the Magus brought Havria into the building with the broken Sun Disc, where they were free from any potential listeners. The walls were lit by scones of blue fire, revealing what may have once been a shrine or temple, but nearly all objects of worship were little more than rubble now. Fitting, then, that he would hear of this Teyvat, a realm also torn asunder by petty, squabbling deities.
In a way, it was… Slightly difficult to grasp. Xerath knew well that there existed realms beyond the physical plane of Runeterra, but this Teyvat sounded like a place so utterly separate… Not merely another realm, but another existence entirely. In truth, it was somewhat surprising that Havria mere presence here hadn’t drawn the attention of Targon yet, but Xerath wouldn’t squander the opportunity to learn all he could.
What he learned was almost laughable. No, more than that, it was baffling. “So your subjects betrayed you… And you simply permitted it? Perhaps their assessment of your strength was not unwarranted.” Xerath began to hover further into the temple. “Or perhaps they merely found a way to restrain your power, as the ‘Ascended’ of old restrained mine…” If that was the case, then Xerath couldn’t entirely fault Havria. It would certainly explain why she didn’t merely strike down the arrogant ruler and make an example of him to the other dissidents.
“They reacted out of fear... they feared that by a god being amongst them it would draw the war to our home, and they feared that I would not raise a hand to defend them should that happen. I purposefully sealed my power around my subjects as the full potency of an Archons power is enough to warp our surroundings with a thought in certain situations. So for the safety of my people I would always supress my own divine energy around them. And they knew this so they took advantage of that knowledge as well as the fact my own blade was given to the king as a sign that he was the one I trusted to lead in my stead when I could not be there.” she said with a sigh and a tinge of pain on her face as she relived the moment through her head. “At the moment of my ‘death’ all of my divine energy was released at once... all of the people of Sal Terra suffered a death so final that their souls were extinguished... they did not see the after life. From there my power began to reform slowly over 1000 years until I could see myself reborn.” she said revealing that even her own divine blade didn’t permanently end her and that the act of killing her was the end of all those who sought her end in that moment. “So... now over 1000 years after my death I am reborn with no people, there are still those who worship me even indirectly so I still hold my divine authority, but I have seen fit to expand my horizons... Teyvat has no need of me at this time so I need not bind myself to it for now.” she said solemnly. “OH incase you were curious that is why you didn’t feel my presence sooner I am currently suppressing my divine power fully... even when I introduced myself, out of respect I only released a fraction of my energy to show you that I in kind was a deity as it is considered rude to hide ones self from other gods and goddesses.” she said with a smile attempting to reassure Xerath that there was no need to worry about the divine energy of a death goddess leaking through his home.

mysticallities:
“Begrudgingly, yes…” Mona sighs. “No, in all honesty, Bao'er-san is a dear friend, but that does not stop me from pranking her.” Mona, what did she do to you?
“Ah, thank you!” Bao'er runs over and grabs the Vision, placing it back into her belt and securing it! “No treasure, huh? That’s okay! Like Megistus-san said, I do not do business like that anymore! If there was, your secret would be safe with me!” She runs back over to Mona and the Goddess. “Zhongli-sama’s older brother?! In all the times I was scolded by him, he never told me that!” She exclaims.
“… I apologize for my friend, she’s easily excited… Bao'er-san here was a treasure hoarder~” Mona says, crossing her arms.
“Younger sister.” Yan said correcting Bao’er this time to avoid complications. “I doubt he would have mentioned me up until recently it had been years since we had seen each other.” she said with a smile. “Oh a treasure hoarder? I have heard they don’t often let people leave their ranks so easily you must be very talented at defending yourself for them to not try to force you to stay.” she said looking to Bao’er in surprise. “Still it is nice to see two good friends. I don’t think I have ever had a friend I would let stab me in the back or throw something as important as my vision into rubble. Granted I don’t have a vision...” she said with a half smile as the memory of when she did care for someone so much she allowed them to not only stab her in the back but do so in a way to kill her.
infinite-xerath:
Havria’s words spoke a great deal of her character, though the more he heard of her world, the more intrigued he became by it. However, she somewhat surprised him by managing to hazard a guess at his true nature. The Magus stopped and turned to look at her. “And tell me: what is a god, Havria? What does the term truly mean?” Without even waiting for an answer, the Magus continued. “I have seen those worship beings of the cosmos. I have seen those who revere spirits and demons. I have even seen those that pay tribute to abominations of the Void… A god is a being that stands above all others, and in due time, I alone will become the ONLY being fitting of that title.”
The Magus stopped and looked toward a building in the distance, on top of which sat a broken, golden disc. “Yes, long ago, I was mortal. The empire of Shurima used the Rite of Ascension to elevate the ‘worthy’ into Ascended. However, they were deceived… Deluded. The Sunpriests would pick and choose who was ‘destined’ to Ascend based on ‘divine revelations,’ but that was merely a front. The Ascended of old were put pawns of politics, chosen for their blind loyalty and faith above all else. The priests received no sacred guidance or wisdom; they merely calculated who would be most beneficial to the empire’s conquests, and elevated them as icons.”
A sound of disgust left Xerath’s throat as he continued on. “But I learned the truth. Uncovered the secrets those fools would keep buried. I learned the true nature of Ascension, and that they had been limiting its potential for so long. The ‘chosen’ were half-baked creations; the ritual they underwent, incomplete… They used the Rite merely to transform their flesh, but I surpassed it. I became a being of pure energy, unrivaled by any who came before me. I became the one, true Ascended.”
The Magus paused and reached up, tightly grasping the seal. “They feared me, of course. They first tried to strike me down, but found it impossible. In the end, they could only imprison me… But in my absence, they tore asunder the very empire they were sworn to protect. Indeed, they were no true gods.” Finally, Xerath turned and addressed Havria again. “But I have spoken at length about myself and this world. Now, it is your turn, Havria. Tell me more of this Sal Terra you spoke of…”
As Havria listened it sounded like this world had a similar system of ascension to that of Teyvat with it’s Allogenes, but much more selective and much more corrupt. It was clear to her that Xerath had seen much of his words version of humanity corrupt even the divine rites, so it made sense he would claim responsibility and the mantel of ‘the only God’ for himself. He was a man who had seen the very faith betray it’s people... how could he not want to take every possible measure to defend against another betrayal of that magnitude? Still while she could sympathize she could not agree with him on certain points so she figured it best to tell her story before stating her disagreement. “Is there someone less public we could discuss this? To speak of my home in such an open space is... troubling.” she said with a sigh. If he afforded her the curtesy she would begin telling him of her home and her past once they were alone, if not then she would still begin though hesitantly. “To know of Sal Terra you must first be told of the world in which it resides... beyond the viel, and out of the reach of the Summoner’s Gate... there is a world known as Teyvat. This is where I call home. Teyvat’s Divine Pantheon was comprised of myself and my family originally, however the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles saw fit to allow humanity and it’s kind the chance to ascend to god hood. Soon the heavenly city of Celestia was over run by Major and Minor gods alike... and soon the ambition of those who rose to power gripped the Pantheon... war broke out as God’s fought God’s, and family fought family for the right to have a seat as an Archon. During this war I made a refuge away from the violence and conflict of a war that I considered foolish and ignorant. A place of protection for those of my followers and those who wished to avoid the horrors of war. That was Sal Terra.” she explained with a sad expression across her features. “Even with the protection of a Goddess though... humanity is prone to fear and paranoia. My people began to consider me weak for refusing to join the conflict. The human Ruler I instated sought to give me an Ultimatum... Fight to protect Sal Terra when no other God or Goddess had dared to even point a weapon at our gates yet... or have my people turn on me.” she said gripping at her own chest, at the back of her clothing there was a hole where it was tied up and just through that whole Xerath would be able to see the entry point of a divine blade that would have stabbed through Havria’s heart... a scar left from when her own people literally stabbed her in the back. “Sal Terra was a beautiful place... water flowed freely, precious ore veins ran in abundance, animals and plants a like were in high supply... we could have lived in peace for millennia.” she muttered before gathering her composure again. “Now there are 7 Archons who rule Teyvat God of Freedom and the Wind: Barbatos, God of Contracts and the Earth: Morax, Goddess of War and Fire Murata, Goddess of Eternity and Lightning: Beelzebul, Goddess of Wisdom and Flora: Kusanali, A deity of Justice and Water whose current identity is unknown to me, and a Goddess of Ice whose ideal’s and identity are unknown to me. I myself am still the Goddess of Salt and Death, but the people of Teyvat think me dead since the Archon War.” she explained with a heavy weight on her chest.
graceful-cure-swan:
Tsubasa’s eyes sparkled.
“Yes, this is perfect! Thank you so much!” Tsubasa chirped before taking out her wallet and opening it, smiling at the shopkeeper. “So… how much does it cost? Is the card included?”
Granted, she just got her allowance yesterday so she could afford something like a Mother’s Day bouquet without much trouble. But she still needed to budget! What if she couldn’t afford to treat her friends to a nice lunch because she overestimated how much money she had? That would be horrible!
Yan shook her head with a smile “Everyone’s first purchase here is free. I am not hurting for money as such I felt it was a show of good faith to have that special for all first time customers. After all if someone is happy with the flowers and service they will come back to get more later.” she said with a giggle offering the bouquet towards Tsubasa. “The card is included.” she added cheerfully.
[My dash suddenly had more YGO on it so I felt the need to make Havria’s decks she would play]
