not sure if this is true because i know articles and press twist things, but around the time longlegs was released, oz perkins was asked if he’d make a longlegs prequel or sequel because of how the movie ended.

oz said it depends on how it does at box office and the reactions. this was before the movie hit $108.9 million WORLDWIDE. the chances are high now 🙂‍↕️

i really do hope down the line we get a prequel of dale or a sequel to see what happens to lee and ruby. or both (prequel and sequel). i need to know dale’s backstory, i need to know his upbringing and what made him tick, if our predictions are true. i need to know if lee is taking care of ruby now, suppressing her trauma and keeping the doll safe, somewhere locked away. or if lee destroyed the doll somehow, some way.

I HAVE QUESTIONS AND I NEED THEM ANSWERED.

i really enjoy oz’s cinematography though. he’s definitely got a style. i cannot wait to see the monkey in feb! but hellooo???? nicolas cage and maika monroe? they both blew it out of the park. as did blair underwood and alicia witt. THEY ALL DIDDD. i just hope oz eventually gives us more! and same with nic… cage made a statement about not wanting to play serial killers after longlegs because he doesn’t like violence. i hope nic does play longlegs one more time for a prequel, maybe in flashbacks for a sequel.

i just wish to see more lee, more ruth, and ESPECIALLY more dale kobble.

Too old or just tired of all that sh*t?

No offense to Kobble’s army but I find it funny - Dale is always dragging his damn feet. We see it in the hardware store, there is also a blurry moment during the opening scene hence the heavy breathing that probably resulted in speedy walk rather than his surgery complications. Then, with the Carrie Anne doll, he looks like he’s about to collapse. The surveillance footage from thebirthdaymurders.net. Weird shuffling dance at the bus stop. It seems like he struggles to walk or stand still in general. The same goes for Lee when she emerges from his lair and starts to channel him. If I think about Dale, I hear the sound of grandma slippers and you guys fucking him here 24/7, it blows my mind 😂🤘🏼
