Hello

I know I haven’t been here for a while.  Explanation under the cut

It’s been rough.  In September 2020 my grandmother passed, then in December 2020, my husband’s mother passed.  I got the COVID vaccine in June 2021 and suffered basically a nervous breakdown.  I reverted back to the way I used to be, not able to take any pills for fear of having a panic attack and not able to leave the house.  Then in August 2021, my mother got COVID, and my father caught it from her.  He ended up going to the hospital, was on ventilators for two weeks, and then passed away.  Then in November 2021 my husband’s father passed away.  My husband was on the phone with his sister who was going to their dad’s house for Thanksgiving and they found him dead on the bathroom floor.  It was a very sad, very tragic few months in our lives.  I have been having heartburn and pains in my right side and attacks of severe stomach pain for a few months and finally went to the doctor and found out I have to have my gallbladder removed.  I have never had surgery before so I am terrified.  So needless to say I haven’t really felt like coming on tumblr.  Not sure if I will come back to be honest.  Just wanted to explain my absence.  I may or may not be back.

J2 Debacle

I wasn’t going to make a post about this, but since I’m a Sam/Jared girl, I’m sure people are assuming how I feel about this whole thing and I want to make it very clear where I stand.  

Do I think Jensen NEEDED to let Jared know about The Winchesters?  No.  Do I think it would have been nice to let the guy know that you’ve been close with for 15 years?  So close that you constantly call each other brothers in real life?  Yes.  Do I HATE Jensen for this and think he should be “cancelled” now and hope the prequel fails just to spite him?  No.

Do I think Jared was wrong for tweeting what he did?  No.  He was hurt and upset because he just found out his BFF/brother was doing a project involving Supernatural and hadn’t even bothered to tell him, ON TWITTER.  Also, I saw a post that pointed out if Jared hadn’t tweeted what he did, it would look like he was lying.  Because he has said over and over he will do anything Supernatural related with no hesitation, no matter how busy he is.  Now, here comes a Supernatural-related project and he’s not involved.  So of course people would say, SEE?  He hated Supernatural!  He’s the one who wanted it to end!  He probably pressured Jensen into ending the show!  Even though we all know it was a mutual decision between Jared and Jensen.

I think what happened is both Jared and Jensen are super busy, and it was simply an honest misunderstanding.  I don’t think Jensen did it intentionally, I don’t think there was some secret plot to exclude Jared and/or make him look bad.  We have no right to speculate on their friendship, and/or what we think happened behind the scenes.  I’m glad Jensen and Jared talked and cleared the air.  They have been friends for way too long to let something like this come between them.  And…

like. just imagine seeing how hurt someone is by due to being treated badly by a loved one, and thinking they're being dramatic. i sure hope you people don't actually spend time around mentally ill people because you probably would also laugh at them when they're down and expressing their hurt.

i wish i had the ability to verbalize it better, but the way some people in this fandom responded to jarpad’s initial emotional reaction was so disturbing to me. the man had 10 minutes of thinking he didn’t mean as much to his dearest friend as he thought, out of the blue, asked everyone to lay off his friend anyway (which apparently is very easy to do? you can just ask your fans not to harass your cast mate? hello?), then sorted it out privately. and amidst all that, those people are one step away from saying ‘why are you acting like a girl?’

that was one of the most genuine, human, in-the-moment emotions i have ever seen from a celebrity, but sadly, as we all know, he is devil incarnate and so we must treat him with some kind of self-consuming misogyny for being honest and emotional

Alright I wasn’t gonna weigh in but I’m gonna weigh in

No matter if you think Jensen is a dick for not including Jared or that Jared is inappropriate for venting on Twitter, end of the day, you don’t actually know these people.

I can’t stand hate against Jared or against Jensen or anyone involved based on what, miscommunication or not including someone or being openly angry about something on Twitter? Fucking chill everyone

The hate I’m seeing for either actor stemming from their own beef with each other is simply not your fucking business. I hope they resolve it, I hope they can make up for their own sake but no matter what, the excessive and often rude or mean-spirited parasocial relationships people have had with the SPN cast for the past decade and a half is just gross.

Supernatural was my emotional support TV show for years too! And I loved how close and funny and great the cast were together too! But the lengths the fandom goes to to villainize any cast or crew member who has a beef with their fave at any time? We don’t really know what happened there, and frankly it’s not our business.

Just stop with the targeted harassment and actor hate, they’re not automatically bad people because you don’t like what’s happening with their relationships and careers.

In the US they are not allowed to charge an individual for this vaccine. They are allowed to bill your insurance. Whether you have insurance or not, you will not pay anything.

When I registered there was a page for insurance information. We were instructed just to put “no insurance” and keep going.
