If, like us, you’re a fan of The Streets, The White Stripes or The Strokes chances are you are already aware of Ewen’s work. For those less familiar he is the counter-culture king who has been immortalising youth and sub-cultures for nearly two decades.

Ewen has been responsible for documenting the early 90′s UK Garage scene in his book UKG right through to the emerging Grime scene coming out of East London in his books Open Mic Vol 1 & 2. We went to hang out in his Brighton studio last week to find out more…
