I think one of the reasons why Virgil is a really really good character is that hes a neutral character. he isn't light or dark, he's somewhere in the middle because we've seen him as positive anxiety (wids,fwsa) and we've seen him as his usually negative anxiety. he is both literally and figuratively a morally gray character. I don't like fics when he is viewed as just a light side or just a dark side, him being accepted doesn't change what he stands for (can you tell I don't like the paranoia hc?) his name is Virgil, ending in "il" because he's not light -ending in "on/an"- and he's not dark -ending in "us"- he's completely in the middle.

I got this idea cause when I imagine the sides in fanfics,, I keep seeing certain archetypes in my imagination so I drew some. It's been a while since I drew this and I think I would've done a few things differently now but I still wanted to share :)
