this may be controversial™ but i feel like shangela gets away with a lot of gimmicks and stunts because she’s shangela. how would y’all have reacted if trixie wore a fat suit? let’s be real people would be s l a t i n g her for it. also despite what people seem to be saying i FEEL like shangela’s acting has been very one-note the whole time. she plays the same character- herself- in every acting challenge. also if as3 was aired a few years ago when sewing/makeup concept challenges were more relevant perhaps shangela wouldn’t be as ‘deserving’ to win as a lot of u think. at this point i think it’s anyone’s game and every queen has a chance to win… and before y’all come for me ‘I SAID I FELT’
she doesn’t gets away with it because she’s shangela, she gets away with it because she’s entertaining.
and shangie did compete in a very sewing/fashion centred season back in season 3 and made it to top 5, so i’m not sure what your last point is about.
