She laughed, “I am just telling the truth though. You would be the perfect model.” She smiled looking over at her and smiled, “Well that is always good, well might be here more often now.”

“Well you are pretty and if you need me to text you that every night I will” he nudged her “you friendzoned me? hell no, it was me who friendzoned you” he was obviously joking around with her. “I do love you though and I love having you as my best friend, I have been okay, confused, how about you?”

Deanna laughed a little and nodded, “I’d like that. Thanks Dan.” She smiled looking at him and laughed, “If that’s what you want to believe.” She stated a she ran a hand through her hair, “I know I am amazing right? Well I am glad to have you as my best friend as well, where would I be without you? Confused? About what? What’s going on in there Daniel?” She asked looking at him, “I have been good you know busy but good.”

“Are you compliment fishing right now?” he chuckled “ you know I always think you are pretty, we friendzoned each other a long time ago though so not that kind of pretty” he wrapped one arm around her shoulder starting to walk down the festival “ of course you did, it is quite amazing, how have you been?”

Deanna laughed a little at him for a moment, “Well I mean why not? It’s nice to be told I am pretty at times.” She laughed a little looking over at him, “Okay, you still holding onto that? I mean come on we wouldn’t be best friends right now if I hadn’t have friend zoned you.” She rolled her eyes for a moment, “Hmm maybe. I have been pretty great, how have you been?”

Today was a perfect day for a festival, the sun was shining and on top of that Daniel needed to get out of the house after a full week of work. It was also about time he and Deanna hung out properly. He did not see her at the bar opening, then again his head was a bit everywhere that night. He missed his friend and needed a new scenery so when she agreed to come to the festival with him he was pleased. He opened his arms with a smile on his face as he noticed the woman coming down the street. “There is a face I have missed”

Deanna was a sociable person and enjoyed spending time with friends and anyone really. She was often making new friends but when Daniel said he wanted ot see her and invited her to the festival she couldn’t turn it down, he was her best friend and someone who was often there for her. As she reached him, she smiled, “Oh you actually missed my face? Is it that beautiful?” She laughed as she gave him a big hug back. “I missed yours too as well.”

Miles laughed a little at her and smiled taking her phone to add is number, “Well I am not really in comfortable running shoes I don’t think it would work well.” He laughed a little, “Shouldn’t you enjoy your job? I mean it makes working more worthwhile if you do.” 

Deanna smiled looking over at him and his shoes and laughed, “Well they really don’t look comfortable to even walk in.” She laughed a little looking over at him and shrugged “Not if what you love doing can’t offer you enough money to pay rent. I mean I do photography free lance but right not it’s not taken off that far so I also work at a hotel as a receptionist.”

The blonde woman gave a nod in agreement, offering a friendly smile to the other, “Agreed but it was nice of you to offer to pay for any damages,” she mentioned, finding it very sweet of her. Giving a nod hearing about the woman’s dream job, she couldn’t help but smile brightly. “Definitely, and if there’s anything I can do to help your photography dream happen.. let me know,” she offered, just always loving photography herself but the idea of it as a job never crossed her mind.

Deanna looked over at the girl for a moment and smiled, “Well if there were damages it was technically my fault so it would be wrong of me not to.” She stated smiling at her for a moment, She smiled, “Well thank you, I will definitely keep that in mind. I mean I love photography so just building up my portfolio is important. But if you have anything that needs shooting then that could be helpful.”

Miles laughed a little as he smiled, “Okay perfect, if you give me your phone I can add it in. Don’t worry I won’t steal it.” He laughed for a moment, “Nice to meet you Deanna. I mean I love my job so to me it is fun.” 

Deana laughed a little and nodded before unlocking her phone and passing it to him, “I would hope not, I don’t fancy trying to run after you today.” She laughed a little looking at him, “Well I am glad you enjoy it then.”

“I think they older I get, the less I bother about dressing up. I am all about being comfortable nowadays, I think I am getting old.” She pouted, but soon laughed alongside her friend. “You always have to listen to my advice, trust me.”

Well that is fair enough, I don’t know if I will reach that. Well you always look great either way.” She smiled looking over at her and laughed, “Next time I promise Next time.” She laughed, “How often do you come here?”

Miles glanced over at her and smiled over at her for a moment nodding, “That sounds like a better idea then just hoping to bump into you. Did you want my number?” He asked, “I’m Miles by the way.” He smiled, “I love to run and to read and to go to the gym. I am a lawyer, a divorce lawyer.” 

Deanna looked over at him and laughed a little “That would great.” She smiled, “Nice to meet you Miles. I’m Deanna.” She smiled looking over at him. Well that does sound fun, the running and gym part not really the lawyer part but do you enjoy your job?”

“Dressing up I am not so sure, but going out? Oh, you can always count on me for it.” Dressed in a simple black jeans, flats and a nice sweater, Georgie for sure wasn’t as dressed up as many of the people around the party, she was, much like her sister, all about the comfort of things. “I told you you should’ve come here sooner, Adrian sure does looks grumpy, but he for sure is a very good barman.”

Deanna laughed a little, “Oh but dressing up is so much fun. Going out is always a great thing.” She smiled a little looking over at her and laughed, Deanna was always dressing up and honestly, she enjoyed it a lot. She laughed, “Well I wasn’t sure if you were right but from now on I am going to listen to your advice. Good to know he is and he makes good drinks.”

Georgie loved a good excuse to celebrate and have a nice time surrounded of those she liked. Add that some free drinks and she feels like heaven. Alfie’s corner was a place she was more than used to go, the little bar turned out to be her go-to place when she needed a drink or two after work hours. Showing up at the bar with her sister, Georgie had just about gotten them some refills when she spotted a familiar face in the crowd, a wide grin forming on her face as she hugged her friend back. “Please, a good excuse to have a night out and free drinks? Always count me in. Besides, this is my go-to bar whenever I need a drink or two so it is nice to see a little celebration in here for once.”

Deanna stood there looking at the girl, she was glad she had one of her good friends at the party. She laughed a little and nodded, “It is always perfect excuse for a night out as well as a chance to dress up.” She laughed a little, “I might have to start coming to this bar more often now especially if you’re here all the time. I don’t know if I have ever come here before.”

Deana was often seen going out no matter what the occasion was because she just liked to enjoy the nights. When she heard there was an event with free drinks at Alfies corner she couldn’t pass it, she had to go. She had got dressed up for it and everything. She had got her first drink and she was definitely enjoying the vibe, it just seemed that everyone was in a happy mood and she knew that was a good sign. As she sat at a table she noticed her friend Georgie in the corner and she smiled before walking over, “Free drinks really do draw a lot of people in don’t they?” She asked before hugging the girl briefly, “Hey, who knew I would bump into you here.”

“if that is what you want to believe then sure.” She rolled her eyes for a moment and laughed, “Patience my friend, patience. “ She smiled shaking her head, “Oh how you got excited that that rhymed, how cute are you.” She looked around and then got her camera out to see what an area would look like, “Okay, if you go over there, I think that would be perfect. Just be yourself, casual no need to pose or flex.”

Henry was going about his day wandering around the park, with his usual chipper and upbeat attitude. He was just minding his own business just starring and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. Abruptly, a stranger accidentally bumped into him, and he turned around still smiling, “Oh, no. I’m fine, thank you for asking.” He said still chipper. He was in this permanent mood of nothing could ruin his day. He stood straight, reached out his hand for a handshake and said, “I’m Henry, may I ask your name?”

Deana was enjoying her time looking at the views until she had bumped into someone and it wasn’t like it was on purpose but she felt guilty because he was probably just trying to walk through the park. She smiled, “Well I am glad you are all good then.” She smiled biting her lip for a moment and nodded, “Of course, it’s Deana. Nice to meet you Henry.”

Deana laughed a little and nodded, “Well I often here, but that would be wonderful, maybe we could actually plan to meet here so I can show you some of the photos I have.” She smiled looking over at him for a moment and nodded, “It is one of the things i have held onto forever and I am so glad I have. Do you have any passions? Or what do you do for a living?”
