Shepard for a long years couldn't return to their home planet, 'cause they know whatever is a "new" Mindoir, it`ll never be the same as Mindoir in their heart and memories.

Learning yet again why I avoid putting makeup on my characters... Never looks right once in game. Ever. Except the eyeshadow. So I guess it's the lipstick. (Seriously, I am really not good at character creation in ME1. Drives me nuts how much time I spend in the character creator only to get to the game and Shep never looks right.)

When I set out to do Penny's run, I used the character from my first ME run. Technically, not the Shepard I actually named Penny in game, but whatever. I wanted to play Infiltrator because I haven't done so since the very first time. 😂 Didn't take long to realize that Penny's really not the Infiltrator type. So her canonical job class isn't Infiltrator but Engineer.
But! As I tried out different classes on Eris, I realized she had to be an Infiltrator. So Infiltrator she is.
She's already told Joker and Kaidan to knock off the chatter. And gotten annoyed at Joker for irritating Anderson. 😂 Yet another RP heavy run simply because I haven't seen how a lot of this goes with the sort of character Eris is...

Just started this ficlet over again for the fifth time, and every single one is in my drafts 🙃 They are all terrible and I hate every one of them. I can’t get the tone/mood right. 💀
When the Illusive Man first popped up in Eris’s story, he was so… empty and hollow and awful. It’s horribly depressing. And I figured that the end to his story would actually involve dying on the Citadel.
But it’s *so hard* and I hate it
And… I keep thinking of Eris after the war.
I keep thinking of them after the war, quietly resentful of each other and yet slowly coming to an understanding.
I can’t shake the feeling that it would be good for Eris.

Hoped to write and game today but sitting at my desk sounds exhausting at the moment.
…But the Normandy docking one last time at Cronos. Reloading supplies, one last maintenance check before going through the Omega-4 relay…
One last night. And Amelia gearing up when it’s time to leave. Jack bearing the weight of knowing what he’s doing. That he brought her back only to face the real possibility that she’ll die—again. The magnitude of what he’s asking of her.
The way he checks her over, makes sure everything is set. The way her eyes try desperately to meet his and he avoids her until she makes him look at her.
The way she promises she’ll be back and the way he wants so badly to believe her.
But he remembers when she died the first time…
