How to Tackle the SNAP Exam Like a Pro
The SNAP exam is one of our country's most challenging MBA entrances. This one-hour exam tests your ability to perform well in the B-school. You can get admission to premium Symbiosis Management Institutes if you top this entrance exam.
Understanding the SNAP Exam
SNAP has a total of sixty questions divided into three sections. These sections are namely General English, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. All sections have a different weightage. Twenty-five questions will be from Logical Reasoning. Twenty questions will be from Quantitative Ability, and 15 will be from General English. You must have high scores in all three sections to maximise your chances of converting to a college admission.
Creating a Study Plan
Start your preparation by creating a study plan. You have a vast syllabus to cover in the upcoming months. Therefore, cover at least 70% of the syllabus before SNAP registration. You can look at the past question papers to determine which chapters have higher weightage. Study those chapters first.
Effective Study Techniques
You can go about your way to study for the exam. If books are your go-to study sources, purchase a few prep books. Otherwise, you can join an online or offline course. Daily live lectures are also available on YouTube, where you can clear up the basics. After learning all the concepts, solve question papers in under 60 minutes. Give mock tests until you are confident about your abilities.
Mastering Each Section
You can have a different learning schedule for each section. Prepare for logical reasoning first and solve as many problems as you can in a timed manner. Speed is the most important skill in this exam. The same goes for the other two sections. Solving Level of Difficulty 1 questions with a time constraint will prepare you for the exam.
Tip: Try to finish General English in under five minutes to give more time for the other two sections.
Exam Day Preparation
Make notes of all chapters. You can skim through them on the exam day. The day of the SNAP will be more about patience and confidence than concepts. Therefore, keep yourself calm for the exam.
Post-Exam Steps
After the exam, take time to analyse your performance. Identify areas where you did well and where you need improvement. Plan for the next steps. Group Discussions and Personal Interviews are part of the admission process. Regardless of the outcome, keep a positive attitude and learn from the experience to improve in future endeavours.
Acing the SNAP Exam requires a strategic approach, diligent preparation, and a calm mindset. By following these steps, you can crack the exam easily. Lastly, stay focused, stay confident, and give it your best shot!
