Creative Week 2018
Hi my name is Raul Carrillo. I am an artist from Long Beach, Ca. All my art is charcoal/graphite portraits on wood. I first tried drawing portraits on wood just to see if it was possible to achieve smooth blends like on paper, and I soon did after some artists doubted me. After completing a couple of portraits of my nephew and niece, people started contacting me to submit orders. I soon was busy enough to quit my full-time job and chase my dreams as an artist. This is a 2 foot tall wooden cross done with graphite pencils. You can also see my full portfolio on instagram: @raularts
Thanks for your time, hope you enjoy my work!
