A Day At The Park // InspectorJaverts

Sara smiled and set the basket down then took the blanket from under her arm, grabbing one side. “Alright, you take the other side” she said as she held both corners. She looked over to Justice and smiled. “As soon as we’re done here you may join us!” she giggled. She had packed a special snack for Justice and hoped he would enjoy it once they got everything set up. So far everything seemed to be going quite well! The wind wasn’t blowing too hard, the sun wasn’t shining too bright, and the temperature was comfortably warm. She could hardly wait to dig into the delicious snacks.

Javert took the other side, holding both corners while waiting for Sara’s cue to spread the blanket out and set it down. Justice gave a quiet but indignant sneeze. He knew that! He knew daddy wouldn’t leave him tied to the tree for the rest of his time there. The rabbit wouldn’t be ignored for too long. He’d have his leash reattached to Javert’s wrist in no time flat. Not that his owner wasn’t protective of him at all times, but Javert became quite the hover parent the moment Monsieur Justice was allowed out the front door.

Sara nodded and helped spread the blanket down over a soft grassy spot. She looked over when Justice sneezed and gave a quiet chuckle to herself. "He really is a good rabbit, isn't he?" Sara said with a warm smile. She then pulled the basket over and took out the plates and silverware along with the snacks. "I hope you and Justice enjoy the snacks I made!"

Sara couldn’t help but giggle. She could tell that Seth was quite unhappy, and that the baby’s father seemed at a loss of what to do. She took a seat beside him and looked to Seth, keeping a calm expression. “Babies can be quite fussy at times! It can be quite difficult to know what to do all the time, don’t feel bad” she said with a smile. She began thinking of things that generally would cheer up a young child, then made some ridiculous faces in hope that it would distract Seth and give him a moment to catch his breath.

Castiel made a grimace despite her attempt to ease his concern but truth was, he felt like a bad father for having his son whimper so often and not knowing what to provide him to make him stop. To start with, he wasn’t even supposed to have a kid; in all his centuries of existence he never heard of an angel’s offspring so he never thought he’d be in this position. It still felt unreal. Then there was a noise on his shoulder, a little heave of the baby’s chest against him and he turned to look at what the stranger was doing. Whatever does faces were for, it seemed to work to make Seth laugh, Cas smiled “How did you know that would work?”

Sara giggled a bit to herself then gave a happy exhale. "I'm not sure, I just know children like simple and funny things..." she said softly. She was glad Seth seemed happier, and was happy to see Cas smiling. "He's a sweet little child, isn't he?" she added as she continued to watch him contently. She always liked children, and could easily relate to them since she always kept youth at heart.

Headcanons: Datsun 240Z

The Datsun 240Z that SPN!Sara owns is quite a special car. It belonged to her uncle, and was passed down to her. It's dark green and has black race stripes. The engine is in quite good shape and has glass packs installed. You'll always hear it coming! Sara takes very good care of it, and even coddles it. The only person besides herself that is allowed to drive it is her uncle. If she's been on a long trip she'll sometimes stop at a fast food place, get a to-go order, and sit in her car with her music turned up high as she eats. She's only raced it once, and since then hasn't done it. She tries to avoid driving it at night since she's afraid someone might not see her and ding up her precious car. Many people have offered her decent amounts of money for her Datsun 240Z, but she always turns them down. When her car isn't being used she keeps it in a large shed near her and her uncle's home. Her will among many other things are locked safely away in the glove compartment.

Headcanons: Instruments

Sherlock!Sara owns a lyre, and while she's not the best as playing instruments, she enjoys sitting in her flat with it and strumming it from time to time. It was a birthday present from her uncle, and she treasures it dearly. 

SPN!Sara isn't skilled with instruments, but she enjoys playing an old penny whistle she got when she was a child. She also owns a kalimba and fiddles with it from time to time. 

PotC/1700s/1800s Sara had taken lessons as a young adult and can play the harp as well as the piano. Her instrument of choice is the harp, and she enjoys playing it during quiet evenings. Sometimes she'll get together with some friends and preform.

Sara was walking down the park’s path when she noticed the the upset baby and his confused parents. She thought for a moment before going over to them with a bright smile. “My, what a cutie you have there! He looks quite frazzled! What’s his name?” she asked politely. She wanted to help the two of them, and hoped they wouldn’t get upset with her for showing concern. It was always in her nature to do kind things, even for people she hardly knew.

Castiel didn’t expect anyone to approach him, he thought people disliked having to deal with the noise of a baby crying and walked away, however, he felt a bit relieved when this girl came into scene. It brought a smile to his face when she complimented his baby. Truth be told he felt for the baby something similar to what he’d feel for a brother like Gabriel or Anna but admittedly deeper, stronger. “His name is Set-..” he was interrupted by the baby slapping his hand on accident while swinging his hands. “Seth” he corrected while pulling the fledging closer to him. Seth was still crying.

Sara kept smiling, but was curious as to why Javert always kept his answers so short. She assumed it was just his nature and decided not to question it. “I guess I haven’t seen anything interesting myself lately, just the usual, but I guess even the usual can be nice!” she beamed. She was always quite upbeat, and aimed to make her company feel at ease. Her pace slowed a bit as they approached a pretty area, and she knelt down to Justice, rubbing his ears. “I almost forget how lovely it is around here” she said in a dazed tone.

“Ahh, so it is.” Javert, who didn’t often pay much mind to whether a place was lovely or not, as it held little use for him to admire the trees on his shifts, replied in a pleasantly surprised tone before tying Justice’s leash in a tight knot to a small tree right near them. If he was to help set up their picnic, he would need both hands free, and an assurance that Justice would be unable to run off with any other furry, or not so furry, companions also come to tour the park.

“We are to begin, Mademoiselle Sara,” he questioned. When was the last time he’d been on a picnic? He couldn’t remember, nor could he remember what all was to be set up first, second, and so on. He could guess, but he didn’t wish to embarrass himself in front of present company by setting the forks down first when it was supposed to be the spoons. If there was picnic set up etiquette, he didn’t want to break their rules.

Sara enjoyed looking at all the scenery, and enjoyed having company with her. The park wasn’t too far off now, and kept a joyful pace as they walked. She then turned to Javert who seemed to be thinking of other things. Sara figured that Javert was probably a little embarrassed to be seen out with a rabbit, and tried to think of any conversation that would deter such feelings. “So, have you seen anything interesting lately?” she asked in a polite tone.

“I have not.” His focus centered mostly on the rabbit and the park, Javert’s tone was calm, but to the point. He worked with the police. There wasn’t much he didn’t see. Or hear. If it interested him, it had to be something entirely too odd and out of place for even the most imaginative of truly criminal of suspects to come up with. An elephant could rampage down the street, somehow escaped from the zoo. Javert would mention it as if it was something he saw everyday, if he even brought it up at all.

Castiel could barely hold the kid, he was moving in his arms, writhing not in pain but certainly uncomfortable with the hands under his small armpits. The angel was holding him as a cat to stare at him, so foreign yet so familiar. Cas gulped audibly while Seth whined once, eyes fixed on his father’s. Both of them tilted their heads at the same time, to the same side, almost like a mirroring action. Then it happened, Cas could recognize that face already, the crying started again. Castiel tried reading his mind but couldn’t understand anything; it was frustrating. “I don’t understand…” Cas whined in desperation; hating to see the baby cry and not knowing how to help.

Cake Run // Sherlock-Holmes221

Sara had been working at a small bakery now for a week, and was still getting used to the job. She had the task of delivery duty that day, and so far the day had been slow. "Sara, an order had been placed!" called a woman from the back. Sara looked up from sweeping the floor and headed to the counter. "Take this cake to 221 Baker Street. Try not to get lost like last time, okay?" the woman said, shaking her head as she handed Sara the box. "I think I can manage, I'll be back!" Sara replied while blushing, heading out the door. She took out her phone and punched in the address to see how far away it was and how long it would take to get there. So far so good, it was only a mile and a half from where the bakery was. She grabbed her bike, carefully putting the box in the basket, and made her way for 221 Baker Street.

Once she got there she took a quick look around, then went up the steps, taking yet another look around. She then gave a light knock on the door, and waited, rocking back and forth on her feet a bit.

Magic Box Dealer: How did you like my last curse, hmmm? What's this? No one noticed? How troublesome. Is it lonely not having anyone to talk to? Half the fun of tricking you is seeing the reactions of others! How dull... Get some friends! That way I can spread the fun their way too kekekeke

Oh, it's you again... I'm rather shy, plus my friends are busy! *munches on an onion ring* Besides, they don't need you cursing them... Your idea of fun is weird. You're lucky that hunters don't look for you.

((Hmmm... I notice I'm having a bit of trouble. I do so well with all my other Sara universes, but for some reason I'm having trouble with Sherlock!Sara... I have some of her story worked out, but I don't know how to really interact with the characters... u^u All my other Saras are so easy xD ))
