āWhy is everything so dead nowadays?ā
āBecause no one comes out of their fucking rooms long enough to socialize.ā
āItāll grow back.ā As soon as the mirror was held up for her to see, the blonde turned around and hugged him tightly. āI love it. New hair, new life, new me.ā
āYour right like pretty much alwaysā the boy said with a smile.
āIt looks good, you can totally have short hair.ā He said while answering her hug.
āSo new life and new youā¦? You want to talk about it or is it still about that incident at your dads..?ā
"This is more than just about my dad's. I've had to grow up with divorce and trying to be the girl my mom wanted me to be. But, I was always different. They preferred makeup and fashion, while I prefer books and movies. Cutting off my hair was like cutting off the last part of my life I had with my family. And let me tell you, it feels great."
āI didnāt say I didnāt like it, itās just new.ā She smiled and marked off a spot just above her neck. āRight there.ā
As she watched him in the mirror, her smile grew wider and her Han reached for his, intertwining their fingers. āThank you.ā
āNo problem, I think itās already weird to see you without your long hair.ā
The boy kept cutting Saraās hair untill it was at the lenght she had pointed out.
āSo⦠What do you think.ā He said while holding another mirror behind her so she could see everything.
"It'll grow back." As soon as the mirror was held up for her to see, the blonde turned around and hugged him tightly. "I love it. New hair, new life, new me."
Sara laughed happily and handed it to him. āI just need to start over again, become a new person.ā She turned to the mirror, looking at him behind her. āWhere did the daddy come from?ā
āMy own head.ā He said with a grin āI wanted to try it now I know I will never use it again.ā Now he smiled from ear to ear starting to cut off the hair of the girl.
āHow long do you want to have it..?ā
"I didn't say I didn't like it, it's just new." She smiled and marked off a spot just above her neck. "Right there." As she watched him in the mirror, her smile grew wider and her Han reached for his, intertwining their fingers. "Thank you."
Sara was in the bathroom, a pair of scissors in her frail hand. Thankfully she was allowed to be by herself now, but they kept a close eye on her.
She turned around at the so in of Jaseās voice and bit her lip. āHey. Have you ever cut hair before?ā
Jase heard the girls voice coming from the open bathroom door.
āUhmm⦠once why..?ā He said while walking into her āYou want me to cut your hairā¦. your long amazing hairā¦.ā
āGive daddy those scissors and it will be done!ā He saidĀ
Sara laughed happily and handed it to him. "I just need to start over again, become a new person." She turned to the mirror, looking at him behind her. "Where did the daddy come from?"
after being so long in isolation Jase felt like he wanted someone to talk to.
after walking through the hallwaysĀ looking for a door to knock on he saw the door to sarabellaās room. it was opened by a few inches but he decided to knock anyway.
āKnock Knock, can I come in.ā He said while gently pushing the door further open.
Sara was in the bathroom, a pair of scissors in her frail hand. Thankfully she was allowed to be by herself now, but they kept a close eye on her. She turned around at the so in of Jaseās voice and bit her lip. āHey. Have you ever cut hair before?ā
āI know, I know. The elephant graveyard is not of the Pride Lands, for the light does not touch it. Iāve been warned.ā
āYou have been taught well, Lian.ā
āIf only I had a mane, the Pride Lands would be calling me in no time.ā
āExcept for the shadowy place. Donāt ever go to the shadowy place.ā
āI can roll with Lian. Besides, resemblance to a Lion bodes well for my non-existent ego, see?ā
āAh, yes. It suits you well.ā
āItās a pleasure, Sara. Feel free to shorten my name, though Kill isnāt entirely suggested, Iām afraid.ā
āIāll just call you Lian, because it sounds like lion.ā
āThen Iām proud of you, maāam. Killian. Killian Jagger. And you areā¦?ā
āNice to meet you. Iām Sarabella Romano. People just call me Sara, though.ā
āWell then Iāll take a wild guess and say youāre here for some food related disorder, correct?ā
āYeah. But, itās okay. Iām doing better. Iām afraid that I didnāt get your name.ā
āCome on, lighten up a little.ā
āIām afraid being around food does not make meĀ ālighten up.āā
āBut I assume the hairs merely add to the flavor.ā
āNo. Just, no.ā
āUnless Iām mistaken, food is not supposed to contain hairs. If I am mistaken⦠Bon appetit?ā
āThrow it away.ā
