Here is the male version of myself. Don't mind the lack of artistic abilities in the photo but I found it to be really easy to picture myself as the opposite sex. What I did notice as I was posting this photo was that most of the traits I listed are traits that I wish I had as female. I think that my hobbies and what I do for fun might change a bit because the personality traits are different but some would be the same (because reading is just awesome). It was also really easy to imagine what I would wear as a male because right now I dress fairly simple and not extremely girly. Everything I wear I've seen what could be considered a male "equal" to that, if you will. I wonder though, if men and women were actually considered equal and that if there were no stigmas to what each person should do or how they should behave would our personality traits or hobbies even change going from one to the other? #mspurv @mspurv

Miley Cyrus Says She's 'Pansexual' and Single

"I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with," she said.

We haven’t talked much about gender and orientation yet, but Miley Cyrus just came out as pansexual and recently stated she was also gender fluid. This weekend she hosts the MTV Music Awards, where she will be under public scrutiny more than ever. Do her recent admissions about her own sexuality and gender change what you think about her? Do you think she gives a positive message to the kids who will be watching the show? Will you be watching this weekend?

I think with her past actions no one will be surprised by what she says or does (or at least I am not, whatever floats her boat though) but I think for people who are struggling with their own sexuality and gender identity they can and will be able to look up to her and admire her for standing up for who she is. It may give others the courage to accept who they are which would be awesome, so in a sense a positive message. I hope that makes sense!
