Hi everyone! I'm Sarah, a 29-year-old black simmer. I've been a Sims fan since the days of Sims 2, and I recently started creating custom content to explore my creativity and connect with the Sims community. You can look forward to a variety of content from me, including interior designs, builds, lookbooks, CC finds, recommendations, and more.
I’ve always wanted to build an ultimate save file. But some things just GOT TO GO! In between removing some maxis world objects, I’m tackling some recolors like street lamps, garbage cans, etc.
WIP - Now, I have already created a grand historic equestrian estate, now I needed a budget friendly barn just outside my NY inspired city. I wanted this place to feel lived in and realistic: a little muddy after the rain, fences that have seen better days, dirt where dirt is supposed to be, and buildings that aren’t perfectly polished. Inspired by a real barn where I used to train 💌

PXL makes beautiful builds too. I believe they used to do fully furnished builds as well, but like a lot of creators, they seem to mainly post shells now. Honestly, I completely understand why because fully furnishing a build takes so much time and work.
The good news is, I actually am working on something right now, and it will be fully furnished. It’s definitely going to be a huge file, no doubt… but I’m excited for it.
Note: Thank y'all for 1,000 followers! It's exciting to know that people enjoy my posts enough to drop a follow, especially with my lack of consistency in the past year. Though this is not my first simblr—nor blog, for me, this blog is the first step out of my comfort zone as an introvert who often keeps to herself. I do acknowledge the shift in my content has been a change that some don't agree with, which, in a sense, I can understand. However, I see it moreso as progression—branching out in my passion of creation, as well as stepping out of a zone that is accustomed to for other things. I do hope to stop switching game styles and get out of CAS one day so that I can start storytelling, but look, I just wanna say thank y'all for the continuous amounts support, lol!! 🎉🎉

hi :) this is probably stupid question but how do you convert presets to other ages? is it complicated? lol
Definitely not complicated!! And not a stupid question at all.
You just have to open whatever preset you want to use in S4S. You should see something like this:
If it's a merged file, there will be more parts to it, but all you want to focus on is the "CAS Presets". In this shot, the only CAS Preset in this particular package is highlighted. But if it IS a merged file, there will be multiple CAS Presets and you'd just repeat the following process for each one.
Under the Data tab on the right side, scroll down to find the "Value" box.
Highlighted here! All you have to do is erase the value there and either type or paste this value instead: 000030FE. It'll look like this when you're done:
Then just save your package and you're good to go! This will enable the preset for ALL ages (infant and up) AND both genders.
Warning though!! It would be best to back up the original file first, in case the preset doesn't work on toddlers (ie melts their faces). However, you MIGHT be able to fix that by using the batch fix for toddler presets in S4S. Just click Content Management > Batch Fixes > CAS > Toddler Preset Patch Bugs then you can fix by a specific preset type or fix them all at once. Usually this works, but sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, then just delete the file you changed and use your backup.

I sincerely apologize for the number of zip files. I had a tough time finding a way to upload everything at once or compress the main folder as a whole. As a result, I had to create multiple folders to split up the CC. If you have any tips on compressing and optimizing large files, I would greatly appreciate your help!
Please note that this is a very CC heavy build, which might cause lag in your game. I organize CC files to their content creator in my downloads. Make sure you're actively running batch fixes on your files.
My game is DirectX11, so you may need to update your images to DX11 in the Sims 4 Studio.
