i  will  always  tell  you  sara  &  oliver  are  basically  the  same  person just different fonts  but  !  when  it  comes  to  who  is  more  ...  inclined  to  be  violent  ?  it  is  sara.  even  from  season  2  of  arrow.  like  ...  i  very  distinctly  remember  this  scene  in  2x19  where  she  drives  an  arrow  through  a  guys  kneecap  &  the  exchange  between  them  was  something  like:

oliver:  hey  !  that  man  used  to  work  for  me. sara:  &  now  he  works  for  the  enemy.

even  when  she  was  breaking  up  with  him  he  like...  pleaded  with  her  to  let  him  help  her  get  her  soul  back.  she  is,  mostly,  a  shoot  first  /  ask  questions  later,  the  world  is  black  &  white,  you  can't  save  with  forgiveness  type  of  person.  &  oliver  worked  so  hard  to  not  be  that.  don't  care  what  anyone  says,  the  man  worked  really  hard  on  not  holding  on  to  the  detachment  that  he  adapted  to  over  the  years.  &  he  was  successful  as  fuck.  so  i  am  very  serious  in  my  saying  that

oliver  queen  is  the  one  thing  that  roots  her  to  her  humanity.

because  otherwise  sara  would  just  be  violent.  especially  after  she's  resurrected  &  fighting  bloodlust.  to  sum  it  up  -  she's  more  violent  than  him.  he's  a  good  man,  savannah.  but  they  are  also  very  similar.  sorry  for  the  confusion  honestly.

hello.  this  is  your  gd  reminder  that  sara  lance  is  smarter  than  half  the  people  give  her  credit  for.  so  i'm  going  to:

multilingual  -  she  knows  ten  languages:  english,  spanish,  mandarin,  russian,  arabic,  tibetan,  latin,  greek,  some  enochian,  ˙⅋  hebrew.

she's  a  highly  trained  tactician  -  years  of  literally  just  trying  to  figure  out  how  to  survive  the  next  thirty  seconds  taught  her  to  think  so  many  steps  ahead.  every  environment  she's  survived  rewarded  careful  planning  over  brute  force.

hate  to  say  it  but  master  interrogator  ˙⅋  torturer.  ivo  mentored  her  for  a  year.  she  was  personally  taught  by  ra's.  she's  100%  admitted  that  he  taught  her  how  to  kill  someone  over  a  period  of  days.  days.  oh  but  britt,  britt  torture  is  a  physical  ability.  partly.  because  do  you  know  how  much  knowledge  you  have  to  have  to  be  able  to  extend  someone's  life  over  a  period  of  days  ?  i  don’t  but  i  bet  it’s  a  lot.

she  has  medical  knowledge.  i'll  do  a  deep  ass  dive  on  everything  she  learned  from  ivo  one  day  because  that  man  taught  her  more  than  anyone  wants  to  acknowledge.  to  give  a  list  within  a  list  -  here's  a  brief  overview  of  everything  she  learned  while  she  was  with  ivo:

forensics,  chemistry,  first  aid,  spell  casting,  rituals,  ˙⅋  interrogation  techniques  that  usually  crossed  into  the  realm  of  torture.

occult  botany.  the  woman  spent  a  long  time  looking  for  the  leviathan  blossom  for  ivo.  she  knows  a  lot  about  magical  herbs,  poisonous  plants,  spell  ingredients,  ˙⅋  ritual  flora.  it's  annoying  honestly.

ritual  analysis  is  probably  my  favorite  because  she  enjoys  it.  with  her  time  in  the  league  she  got  really  familiar  with  ˙⅋  good  at  studying  sigils,  ritual  circles,  blood  patterns,  altar  arrangements,  candles,  offerings,  ˙⅋  spell  construction.  she  can  normally  tell  you  what  kind  of  magic  was  used,  how  recently,  ˙⅋  what  it  was  meant  to  do.

again,  because  of  ivo  she  has  a  solid  grasp  on  alchemy.  she's  very  comfortable  with  potion  brewing,  antidotes,  ˙⅋  magical  chemistry.

she's  good  at  stealing  shit.  an  expert  thief.  again,  you  gotta  be  smart  to  steal  ˙⅋  not  get  caught.
