Every time I feel down and lost and trying to figure things out (like what I’m feeling right now), I just think of the people to look up to, like Ed Sheeran apparently, I’m watching his Photograph music video, it inspires me a lot. It’s just somehow uplifting, that I tell myself “look where he is right now? He’ll not be there singing in front of a large crowd if he did not pursue his passion and more importantly you’ll not be hearing his angelic voice in your headphones if he just given up too soon to achieve his dreams.” As what he had said “You’ll never get anything in life if you don’t work your arse off for it.”

Dear future self,

How are you? Hope you’re doing great. How’s the weather out there? It’s a rainy day here.

Do you still find enthusiasm whenever you’returning every page of a book? Who’s your favorite author now? Do you still remember that Every Day by David Levithan was my favorite book back then? Are you still listening to Ed’s angelic voice? Do you sill find vintage to be classy and interesting?

Siguro madami ka pang di nachecheck sa bucketlist mo? Hope you still continue adding up the things you still want to try and experience. Hope you still continue travelling and exploring the the breathtaking beauty of the world and people around you. Hope you’re spending your time having fun with your friends and hanging out with your family because I know you love them as much as I do. Hope you’re less awkward and more confident by now.

Have you already figure it all out? If not yet, it’s okay. You’ll going to figure it out sometime soon trust me. Remember the time you didn’t know what to do?That’s me right now. But I know you’re tougher than me . I believe that you have stronger faith to God and you’re a lot tougher than I am and a lot better thus, I know you figured things out somehow, though not all and just half of it maybe but that’s absolutely fine. Are you still seeking for the great perhaps? Well that’s great! Just enjoy the journey then, no need to rush things, just be spontaneous and surprise yourself. Don’t overthink okay?

That’s enough for me knowing that you’re there, smiling right in front of this letter. I believe in you no matter how many more mistakes you’ll make. Remember when you’re down and feeling lost, I was lost too that’s why I describe myself as a lost star now by the way. And yet you are a proof that I survived and so you will! I’ll be always here remember that! I’ll be always here cheering on you!

So this is the first time I watched a wedding video that made me teary eyed. I and my sister saw the video last night while eating dinner then suddenly when it was the walking-down-the-isle part and we saw Direk Paul’s reaction, we just like eat-cry-laugh, eat-cry-laugh haha
