I took this after dancing around a parking lot with him and my sister right as the sun was setting. I had this radio station playing old love songs from my car and all my doors were open with my car running but parked there as we ran around and danced. we had to put him to sleep the next day :( I’m missing him a lot right now
thought I’d update sarcasticindiefucks on spencer since he was a big part of this blog. spencer passed away on May 9, 2016. he was 11 (and ¾) years old. he had a tumor on his liver and was sick but still happy/not in pain for four months after his diagnosis. the end happened suddenly when they found cancer in his lungs as his symptoms were getting much worse much faster. we took him on many many adventures, knowing that our time was limited, and we truly made the best out of his last moments here on earth. he was and is so so so loved. he was my best friend. from January to early May he took many walks in the woods, got his feet wet in the creek, barked at geese, ran next to me as I skateboarded, saw a million pretty sunsets, took adventures to two(!) abandoned houses, played a lot of soccer, went to a state park and had a picnic, ate cheesecake, listened to music, and got a million kisses. and this was only the last four months of his life! there are a million good memories from almost 12 years. he played until the day he died (literally). he will always have a special place in my heart/be my one true dog love. he was so appreciate of everything, always had a positive and curious attitude, and helped me learn what love is. previously known as internet star “fat white dog” now just spencer aka spancer (the way we said his name in his own special dog-talk accent) RIP sweetheart if anyone could help me find the name of the song in this video id be so thankful. thanks for all the spencer love throughout the years love, Aubrey / @whiteowl
