Hi! I'm a huge fan of your style of artwork, and I was just wondering-Hi! I was wondering- would you mind at all if I used some of your art as a base for a few completely personal (key word- personal) sketches? I admire the angles at which you draw faces and such, and I shall not be using any of them for commercial gain- simply to become a better artist. If you have any issue with me doing so I don't mind and I totally understand. Thankyou!
Hey! Go ahead, I don’t mind, but I wouldn’t want you to learn bad anatomy from of my drawings so definitely use reference for the bulk of your sketches. :)

how come you draw with your left hand and write with your right? love your art btw!
I’m ambidextrous, and I prefer to write with my right since it’s hard to write with the left without smudging or twisting my whole arm. I do write with my left whenever my right gets tired :-)
You're going to school for graphic design? I just graduated last year with a degree in it! Is there any particular reason you aren't going for something more illustration based? Do you think you would decide to leave the graphic design field to just make a living off your art by doing commissions/selling prints one day? Lol, you probably haven't thought that far ahead yet. I was just wondering XD Good Luck in your studies by the way~
I’ve chosen graphic design because it’s one of the more technical and financially reliable art majors to have, so I’m thinking that if I can’t make it as a freelance illustrator or artist, I can just use my graphic design major to support myself. You can also branch out into a multitude of opportunities with a graphic design major, so it’s half a plan B if full-time illustration doesn’t work out, and half just a versatile major to take! Also (not in a cocky way) if I’m paying so much for a college major, I might as well choose one that would be very difficult to self teach. I’ve been teaching myself drawing and painting independently from any school, so I’m thinking that I can improve in illustration in 4 years just through more self teaching.
Hi have you heard of an artist called Howard McWilliam? He does the cover art for a UK magazine called The Week and really captures the main story in his paintings. He also illustrates children's books and I can see you doing something similar ^^ is it something you've considered in the future? I think your artwork would look really pretty alongside fantasy-type stories :^)
Yes definitely! I would love to get into some storybook illustrations and cover art for books! It’s one of the things that’s on my bucket list, so hopefully, I’ll get to do it one day. :-)
Hi there! Sorry if you've answered this before (my computer takes forever to load archives), but what canvas sizes do you tend to use in Krita? I use Krita as well but when I do paintings nothing really comes out as "crisp" as your paintings do, it's all kind of fuzzy and low-res. Thanks in advance!
I usually use 5″x7″ or 8″x10″ at 600 dpi. Hope it works for you! :)
