Leaving tumblr, especially the kpop community on here, is probably one of the best things to ever happen to me. Like why did we as a fandom, as a fandom-geared site decide that social policing and punishing people for being human beings and making mistakes is what SHOULD be happening on here.

Like 90% of kpop fans are just christians redefined lol. Its crazy to me to finally see just how social media can affect our mindsets even when perceivably on the surface we think we are being righteous but in reality we are all just a bunch of adults acting like teenagers, spreading purity culture and negativity in spaces that should be made safe for everyone

Like im almost 24 now, and to look back on the last 5 years of my life vs who i am now is crazy

To all of the people here who were always honest with me in ways that helped me learn and grow and are still my friends whether i talk to you often or not, i love you and miss you and i hope you are all doing great

To the dumb idiots who thought it was okay to bully a naive 20 year old into being "socially conscious", even knowing that i have autism, bipolar, and id believe anything youd tell me because all i wanted was to be nice and to be a good friend- how does it feel knowing you're never gonna be happy because you cant stop policing peoples behaviors, thoughts and feelings?

Sorry for the thinkpiece, i miss my tumblr friends but dont really want to come back here, and i wanted to give an update on how im doing :)
