a person i know, an Army, who’s been wheelchair-bound since she was 14 just saw Jungkook’s poster and send me a voice message, just crying happily, saying how happy she is after seeing it and how she loves it. She’s one of the many people who, thanks to Bangtan, found the strength and will to live again after being depressed and suicidal for a long time. Seeing her favorite artist who saved her including a disabled (still a question, we don’t know anything) character in their story of self-love, self-acceptance, story of hope and positivity, made her emotional. (just like the poster made me emotional too). Bangtan are truly so brave and strong, talking about such serious and sensitive subjects is not easy, but they always try to spread awareness about such things and never stay silent despite knowing perfectly well some people, who love to feel offended by anything and everything, will definitely find reasons to be mad instead of showing respect. Inspiring people, giving people hope, empowering and spreading positivity and love, calling out society’s injustice, it’s been their aim since the very beginning. They stay true to themselves always, despite everything. They are real artists, real role models, and I can’t express enough how much i love and respect them, how proud i am to be their fan, to call myself Army, how much they helped me and made my life better. I am so grateful to you, Bangtan, for everything you do. For yourself, for us, for this world.
