the thing about the achievement hunter heist videos is that they’re all chaotic and loud and full of guns and flying vehicles and flying bodies and screaming

and they’re basically the exact opposite of what i think of when i think “heist.” like, i think ocean’s eleven. i think nice suits and elaborate plans and suave people at fancy parties/in casinos/in disguises/with individual plans of being sneaky, etc etc

and so i kind of want to see the fake ah crew take on that kind of a heist, except they’re used to the [chaotic screaming] sort of heist, so things go wrong in exactly the ways you’d imagine they would:

geoff just gets progressively more annoyed over the comms. “why haven’t the security cameras been hacked? what’s going on out there?”

gavin makes a sheepish noise. “i…may have gotten the slightest bit distracted and crashed the tech van into a parked car?”

and then later: “what was that?! what the fuck just exploded in the west ballroom?!”

michael’s giggling a little bit. “you told me to make a distraction!”

“with your MOUTH. by TALKING to people.”

“oh. okay, gotcha. yO EVERYBODY THERE WAS A HUGE-ASS EXPLOSION IN THE WEST BALLROOM. RUN OR CONTINUE RUNNING THE FUCK IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. i got this covert shit on lockdown, geoff.”

“[loud, exasperated geoff sighs]”

and then even later: “RYAN, WHERE THE FUCK DID ALL THESE BODIES COME FROM.”

“alright, first, i’m a little insulted that you’re accusing me without the slightest bit of evidence, but also by now i would have thought you’d realize that these things just sort of seem to happen to me, geoff.”
