Left out in front of his door, is a gift bag filled with red tissue paper. Underneath the paper lies a stuffed polar bear holding a bottle of cola in one hand. On one of the handles hangs a tag reading "Shintaro's 1st Christmas present - from your secret Santa"

It was absolutely deplorable.

Who would have thought to make such a gesture? To him, no less. It’s not like he’d done anything to deserve it, to make someone feel the need to reach out like this. In fact, given his track record, it would have made more sense for his name to be written in bold at the top of the Naughty List, with nothing but coal waiting for him on Christmas morning.

But, he hadn’t been able to get rid of it. All throughout the day, he would steal glances at the stuffed monstrosity, sitting just an arm’s reach away on the desk. It stared back at him with beady black eyes knowingly. Shintaro huffed at the interruption to his usual daily routine.

And what’s worse? According to the note, there was supposed to be more coming. Oh, what did he do to deserve this?

kagepro secret santa: ic edition!

helloooo hello friends!! riri here, and although 99% of you know me i’ll introduce myself as just another adoring fan of hiyori asahina’s, and also as tumblr user asahiyo! to get into the christmas spirit, i came up with the idea of doing an ic secret santa. kudos to @tatatarata for helping me decide on how to work things logistically, as well as for being there for me to bounce ideas off of! 💕

how this will work:

the deadline to sign up will be december 5th, after which i’ll use a random number generator to pair people up! the person your muse is assigned to gift will not be the same person assigned to gift your muse — this’ll make things a lot more fun.

a total of three times between the start date ( december 7th! ) and christmas day, leave an anonymous, ic message in your giftee’s inbox! i.e. “A mysterious package awaits on their doorstep, neatly wrapped and containing _______ inside. There’s a note attached, but all that’s written on it is ‘Merry Christmas, Part 1.’” be creative!

feel free to make threads revolving around this as well — ideas include shopping together, conversations where they try to guess who their secret santa is, or anything else along those lines! again, the sky’s the limit!

on december 25th, we’ll have the grand reveal.

some general guidelines:

you do not need to follow me or be mutuals with me to take part in this. it’s open to all kagepro indies and multimuses — the holiday season is a time for everyone to celebrate!

because of the nature of this event, please make sure that anonymous messages are enabled on your blog!

this event is only open to non-oc, kagepro characters. it’ll be a logistical nightmare trying to put people who know each other together otherwise ( since this is an ic event ), so apologies to everyone else! multimuse blogs are a-okay, but for the ease of logistics, please choose only one muse to participate with. riri is only human.

feel free to share who your secret santas are, both ic with other characters and ooc with muns — just make sure that the mun’s knowledge is not the muse’s knowledge, which essentially means don’t godmod and have your muse figure it out too easily. of course, some muses will naturally be stealthier secret santas than others, so it’s perfectly acceptable for yours to figure it out if enough ic hints are given. again, we’re all mature, so use your own discretion.
