Okay, so Iām sorry, but another one from episode 4. Weāll call this Ep 4- Pt 2 and it wonāt be the last because I fucking looove this episode.
Okay, andā¦ I need a moment. Why? Because look. Look at how adorable these two are during this scene? I mean seriously, can I just gush for a second before I get into my writing about them? Because seriously. Being all nervous and flustered and annoyed with each other lmao.

Episode 4- Pt 1 Here
Okay, soā¦ We got Soo whoās been forced into delivering the 4th Prince his lunch because nobody else wants to do it? Awww c'mon, ladies. Heās not all that scary. Heās actually quite soft under that cold exterior of his. So, here we see our prince all fresh and clean from the night before, and we have Soo bitching the entire time sheās climbing up some big-ass rock to get to where Prince So prefers to stay. We see our prince sitting in solitude looking out at the palace. Iām gathering that heās probably feeling a bit ashamed after his big display of emotion the night before. Hard to say if anyone else asides from Soo heard him during his tangent.
Soo actually cracks me up during this scene. She bitches the entire way up to him, bitches and complains about him not eating in his room and that heās making all kinds of trouble by having lunches delivered up here (lmao thatās probably another reason nobody else wanted to deliver the Princeās food to him hahaha), bitches about how she doesnāt like him and how heās really going out all now, and then complains sheās tired. Thatās a big trek, Soo. Iād be tired too, but you do it so comically! Then, she sees him sitting there quietly, by himself, staring off and notices how innocent he actually really looks from the back, even though yesterday he made such a big commotion. Then notices that he actually looks really lonely, before letting out a snicker.
Itās obvious So has heard her as he turns around and sees her and his reaction is not what one would expect from the wolf-dog prince. No, itās actually rather shy and nervous, his eyes flitting away from hers and clearing his throat he as turns his head back around to face forward again. Yep, I was right. I think he probably feels embarrassed after Soo witnessed him completely losing it and totally falling apart in front of her. Soo makes a face at him, seeming a bit annoyed, but nevertheless, hauls a big-ass basket of food to him and sits it down next to him. You can see that So is visibly uncomfortable with her there, as he probably never meant to totally break down in front of a girl he barely knows, so heās probably not wanting to be around her or anyone else right now. I mean, he did tear down Queen Hwangboās prayer stone tower and possibly even Myung Heeās.
Without looking at her, So tells her to leave it there, and Soo sarcastically remarks āYouād like to eat alone and in peace then? You do that.ā Before walking away from him. She glances back at him, noticing how lonely he really does look, but also, she knows sheās gotta bring the bowls and basket back after heās done, and who knows when thatāll be? So, she stamps her foot in frustration, turns back around to him and plops down on the ground next to him with her back to him. So still appears to be visibly uncomfortable with her there, before telling her not to say a word about yesterday, and to watch what she says. Canāt really blame him. Heās not one for losing his cold, fierce exterior like that and totally crumble, right? If anyone found outā¦
Soo is rather surprised at this, telling him that she wouldnāt talk about that even if she could. She canāt believe she saw it herself! Remember earlier back in episode 3 after all of Soās death threats and his rage over dead assassins? Her words while she was sobbing comically to Wook were āHe must have no tears or blood at all.ā Well, she learned last night that heās definitely got plenty of both. Heās not scary, heās not cruel, heās not a wolf, heās not a dog. Heās a human being and a man. Just like everyone else. I gotta really admire Soo here. She tells him that she has her own problems and that she doesnāt have time to go around talking about other people. She couldāve run and told Wook or Chae Ryung about how the 4th Prince had a total breakdown at the prayer stones, but she didnāt. That was something very personal. I do love that sheās not a big gossip queen when it comes to him.
She mumbles how he always tells her to forget him, and So seems to let out a resigned sigh, realizing that Soo is not likely to so easily forget him. Soo glances out and wants to know if itās better that he eats out here before noticing that there is a decent view of Kingās palace, and questions if heās looking at the palace, and why must he stare at it while eating because thatāll be his home someday. So tells her that if itās home, he should have a family. Last night made him really realize just how much he lacked a family, but Soo didnāt understand the full reasoning as to why So was such a mess the night before. Sheās surprised by his words saying she heard his mom, dad, and siblings all live there, but all So can do is lower his head. Though Soo is thinking now and mentions now that itās come up, why did he do what he did yesterday?
Well if that didnāt throw the poor prince off lmao. He freaks out, his eyes widening and points at her and admonishes her, changing the subject, declaring to know how she managed to get into the palace bath the other day. Soo is basically like, oh shit are you serious??? So she tells him how Chae Ryung says the chicken is the best and starts opening bowls for him, while So looks at her panicked. The last thing he wants to talk about now is his family or why he did what he did last night. Thank goodness Soo dropped the subject. They are totally hilarious here. It actually cracked me up again how he went from calm and collected to āWE DONāT TALK ABOUT THAT.ā
Okay, but the best part about this total So and Soo exchange is when theyāre heading back, and poor Soo is exhausted from walking down that hill with the big-ass basket again. So stops to see if sheās still back there, and sheās trying to fix the clasp on the handle and fussing over her skirts while carrying the damn thing. He inclines his head forward, suggesting she can go ahead of him, but not before Soo tries to cover her legs with her skirts and So scoffs (I mean really, Soo? Why would he want to look at your legs now of all times? LMAO) He notices her struggling to carry the basket. He reaches out a hand in an attempt to grab it from her and help her carry it when Soo finally gets a good hold on it, so he chooses not to try and take it from her. (Awww, So, you could have, ya know! Just had to walk a lil faster and reach a bit further!)
So places a hand against his mouth shyly, hoping nobody saw that small act of what wouldāve been a kindness. He watches Soo climb up those rocks before stopping to bob her head and roll her eyes in an exhausted manner, and what does he do? He laughs! The prince actually laughs! And he himself canāt even believe he just laughed. This strange girl is certainly having one hell of an effect on him and he knows it, and that smile and laugh of his are so honest and real, and itās because of her. A smile that actually reached his eyes. Last night he was sobbing his heart out, and tonight heās smiling and laughing? What is she doing to him???
GAWD I LOVE THIS SCENE AND THIS EPISODE!!!
Also, can I just say I LOVE how Prince So walks with his hands behind his back all regal, classy and dignified? Itās just something I always enjoyed watching with him.Ā
