One hundred...I heard every one of their screams, knew the fear, confusion, pain however intense or brief it was, listened to every frantic thought and this is not what hollowed me. It was the collective silent fall. Then the dozens of voices that came after. A little boy crying out for his mom, a man with debris in his body from the windows I shattered, an old woman in shock from her broken leg and disoriented...she had dementia... Knowing and feeling the moment they all died...and that I caused it. It is a sort of quiet, that haunts you. And regardless of my intentions, and whay happened that day, those people died... I believe what leads up to an event matters -- it does, but the fact of, despite how we tried to thwart the attack and it ended so horrifically... I will carry all that with me forever. I will always harbor their last moments inside me, my failure to tactically handle the situation and control my powers...

“Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature.” Who knew Nats words would be haunting or so relevant… With the advent of advanced technology and how our world has changed, running from governments is a new level of stress. It’s exhausting; I can’t even buy a cup of coffee. When I do leave my safe haven, I plan out every second and follow through as precisely and quickly as I can. I’m not sure where Steve or the others are, not exactly anyway. I had to leave my last safe house, protecting two men from each other during a foolish bar fight tends to attract attention. Everyone recognized me or my power signature, red is a hard color to miss. I accept what has happened, at least to the extent that I don’t regret my choice. I’d rather play hide and seek, embracing myself and doing good the way I believe is best than be a controlled or someone’s weapon.

Therapy sessions between Dr. Beyrn and the clinics group continue stagnantly. Opening myself to others is surprisingly alien. Before our parents died, we relied on each other, then it was only us afterwards and until now never needed anyone else but him. We’ve joined consciousness for such a length that I no longer can relate. Conversing is one mechanism, trusting is completely different. Without it progress cannot begin, nor will my psychologist be able to compile a profile of my psychological state and social history.

Natasha explained I must not submit to vulnerability until ready -- genuinely ready for setbacks, discomfort and probable loss of varying degrees of intimacy coupled with trust. Our lives are transient, so you must be fluid. Either that or an impenetrable, immovable, immutable rock.

 Doctor Brimstevich explained the cause of my splitting throbbing headaches as a sort of withdrawal. Sokovia Blitz

Early in the day residents were evacuated in anticipation of a skirmish between rogue sentries built for the Ultron initiative developed by Stark Industries – a vision erected in the mind of munitions tycoon and boy genius Tony Stark. Last year not long after the full-scale destruction known nation wide and to residents on the collection of East coast islands as the Battle of New York. Downtown alone sustained millions worth of damage. Whole structures centuries minted were reduced to quintessential dust and the epicenter of the big apple metropolis was immortally altered. Natasha Romanoff, Barry Burton, Thor of Asgard, Anthony Stark, Captain Steve Rogers and  nuclear physicist Robert Bruce Banner. Without these stalwart guardians the alien race, now identified as Centauri, would have dominated New Yorkers, the US and shortly thereafter our world. Still the staggering casualties disturbingly are glossed over – no Avenger has minimized these death, but we must not overlook them.

Successor Bill de Blasio and former mayor Michael Bloomberg commented on the BOS incident, “we are grateful to the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D for their efforts. But to be fair lives were caught in their cross-fire. Stark’s peace program was a stroke of brilliance, which the UN, Department of Defense and  Congress adamantly approved of. That was before his automatons became murder bots. Aside from the painfully obvious need for increased cyber security. At any junction, the peoples support can shift, but as of now percentages show signs of holding. The group [Avengers] continue to draw outrage from foreign nations for Tony Stark’s Ultron agenda and past activities. Sadly a notable fraction of the world still sees a munitions magnet, not a hero or at least a hero symbolizing America’s empiricism and capitalism.

Amid enactment of the Themis Act and observance of the Eirene initiative, S.H.I.E.L.D. has sat down with the United Nations, FEMA and the DOD conducting talks between these organizations and their own envoys. Sensitive discourses are being censured for the moment until concrete decisions have been confirmed. Understandably following discovery of Hydra operatives infiltrating critical layers of the U.S. government, director Fury and Maria Hill his second in command actively maintain vigilance, to maintain their infrastructure first and foremost. Coping has been difficult, a fraction of my spirit torn away. He was my strength and I was his. All I ever needed to recover from any hurt or setback. I can hardly bare loneliness, друга половина no longer near. I miss being parallel and intertwined, laying and cuddling before closing my eyes. There was a comforting warmth, but now the bedroom space is unnervingly spacious and cold. Nothing to stare at but blank sheets, cool lighting of the barren walls and an empty place where he once laid. I have drawn inward ever more each day, each night. They do not notice, but only because my implosion is well suppressed. At minor -- at least enough to perform in training exercises and missions. In-between those breathes the desolation is starkly visible. Not loud or embossed but a understated lacquer upon me. I drink, eat, smoke, sleep, drag myself on like it doesn’t hurt -- you’d think I was impervious to the bereavement. But its an indescribable hell.

Emotions coursing through each vein painfully, I feel everything and yet every nerve is dulled. From the distant gazes to soft chuckles, all flavored with melancholic notes. Every movement, gesture, utterance, held breath -- a pathetic hearty effort, all of it, all of who I am. Without друга половина I suffer.

Three months since Sokovia we -- and our facility have been intruded by suits. Homeland Security, NSA, FBI, CIA the list goes on. They all want to be handlers, to hand us contracts...but I know better. I’ve seen into their treacherous minds, black operations, asset acquisitions they want lethal playthings.

Steve and Tony have been sharing brief but latently tense conversations in the Main level kitchen. Steve argues our mission will be corrupted by foreign interest and accommodate a grim world where those interests reign. Tony of course leaned toward the syndication of us. He sees resources, but all Rogers sees is strings.

I stand to protect innocents and uphold justice while ever set on peace. Any propositions that go against these things, I would sever my allegiances. Men and women who forsake their roots and beliefs are people I cannot fight with.

In Sokovia our bond broke, I felt his heart stop -- the force of his life could not be detected any longer. But months into training at the new avengers site and pangs of his energy...and the dreams have sewn doubt. C-could he s-still be...alive? But the agony -- like a ferocious tearing, my chest remembers the sensation -- a gapping hole, hollowed out. I’ve grieved him, my exsanguined ventricles and veins suctioning to this artificial man -- this...vision. Is he a possible probability my друга половина or does he reach for me from the fabric tied to of the mysterious deep --.

Waiting here to be a piece of a unit, creating strategies, logistics it does not fill the empty spaces. Clock strokes so loud they strike my insides with an awful thrum. The longer we are without each other I lose a lucid percept of him, losing his window of return. Walking through the kitchen installation, I can sense a presence, as if he were standing on the other side of the counters smuggling holding a coffee. Each sensory perception seems set on fooling what logic sits inside me. He’s not quite there, but I am so sure at moments. Like gliding through a smoke, how quickly it escapes but gently brushes against your face. Just out of grasp, but inescapable.

We have eyes but do not see, words that speak little if at all, ears with which finite frequencies pass through, limbs touching existent non-existent formations -- faulty are we, blind to what is and is not. Cosmic fireflies swarm in a field (quite often actually), if they were there or flew past us we would know nothing of them.

I find my consciousness spread across at least three different dimensions. Hearing disembodied noises, glimpses of figures and objects quickly fade, vivid memories of moments so seemingly certain yet they either happened once and what is has changed, occurred in another plane of reality, was a brief look into a fragment of probability in the multi-verse. Questioning actuality, myself, those near me, surrounding composing matter -- logic, self-awareness and intuition equally serve a purpose to anchor the mind but occasionally none ease distress brought on by an overstimulating experience of seeing past the cosmic layers and veils.

I can hardly fathom the fully extent of my abilities, but must if I want to wield them.
